well my guess would be the guy that is paying Daphne.. he seemed to know exactly where she should try to get the formula. What was the chance she stole the first part EXACTLY when Hiro would disobey his father and look in the safe? Not to mention that would be a great person to "recruit" an army to fight the main heroes for the formula. He obviously wants it bad enough.

In the Blessed Acceleration GN you see that Daphne has the security video feed to the office and was watching Hiro open the safe.

Now as to who is paying her.... we shall see.

I could easily see it as the Haitian. Or Arthur. Or someone we haven't met yet from adam's past. Someone who's had as much time as adam has to get his/her fingers into everything.

For that matter it could even be adam, but I don't think so.

Yeah! The Haitian! Working in concert of course with some figure that can communicate from the dead (Charles Deveaux), and an invisible someone (Claude).

I'll Admit i don't read GN's but that still wouldn't explain how she happened to know what day/time to sit and wait for him to open it. I doubt that she could have waited there for days/months/years for him to hopefully open that safe. The GN might explain more then i know tho

Well, unfortunately the new commercial for next week reveals who is leading the villains.

It's Maury Parkman. He escaped from Level 5 and he will team up with Arthur Petrelli. They will be the main "villians".

maury parkman is awol. he wasn't captured. he is a villain however. i think arthur petrelli is the one manipulating everyone. since day one. he faked his death to create another establishment that wants to reveal to the world that there are powered beings since the company is so against that. sadly i think his powers are healing powers... i guess the writers can't think of any more powers

Right now, Maury's in the Company hospital wing.

That's gonna be kind of dumb if they can't think of any more powers at this point of the show... I mean honestly, look at how many powers there were in the x-men universe. I mean yeah, there were some repeats but with different variations.

It would also be kind of dumb to have Arthur having the same power as Linderman considering Linderman's kind of the only confirmed friend of arthur.

I think it is someone we haven't seen yet.

Kring said we would never see uluru on the show itself.

But that was a long time ago when the show had less money to play with so things may have changed.

my theory... arthur petrelli... owner of pinehearst... wants to give people powers, that is why in season 1 linderman said to nathan that his father 'lost his way' in my eyes it means... 'he didnt want to work with us'...

saw a pic of next episode with arthur and maury together... maurys power could be the reason that nathan is seeing linderman...

saw a pic of adam with arthur... i reckon last season, maury and adam were working for arhutr to kill of the founders, to take down the company, so pinehearst could be the only company about...

also from angelas dream.. knox/maury/nikki and adam are working together... hence why i think adam and maury work for arthur... it also may not be nikki in the dream... but the other triplet... barbara... i also read one of the blurbs for an upcoming ep which says that knox works for pinehearst..

sorry if this seems spoilery... but it is a mixture of my theories and what ive read...

I think it's Arthur and that he has some awesome power other than healing (after all, Linderman healed him in Viet Nam). I theorized that his power could be IA (it seems to fit nicely with his back story). But, whatever it is, he's very powerful.

To take the idea mentioned in the somewhat spoiler-ey post above about arthur's intentions:

What if it's not just arthur's goal to give everyone powers? What if his power IS to give (and possibly take away) a person's power or ability to use what power(s) they have?

Don't forget to add Isaac to that list of people who can communicate from the dead. He could have left some messages for some people before he died. Also, Isaac's sketch pad is still out there, and the writers said that it would be turning up soon.

That's a good point... I completely forgot that he just gave it to the delivery boy..

too bad that after season 2's influx of the other paintings that linderman bought, and after the sketch book, it's kind of gonna be tough to find other feasible ways to have a few "last remaining mendez pieces" to drive the season.

Are people forgetting that Maury Parkman's stuck in a nightmare right now? He's not helping anyone do anything, and he's certainly not manipulating anybody.

He's got a pretty good control over his power. Though he was stuck in a nightmare last we saw him, I wouldn't be surprised to see that he found his way out of it one way or another.

Maybe this is why Peter needs Sylar's ability.

The end of "I Am Become Death" where Peter is with Nathan seems like a clue to me also.
