Since there's rumors that it might be him that comes back next episode. They could revive him using Adams blood. Dunno why Angela would act so surprised though(knowing that Adam's blood could bring the dead back to life)

I don't think he was brought back to heal Arthur because I think Arthur is alive and well. I just think he was brought back to help Hiro/Ando locate this Company that stole the formula.

In the words of Ned, Zing!! That's exactly it. If you people would just read the plot synapsis posted on nbc.com. /sigh.
pasted from the heroes website.
Seeing a horrific future where nearly everyone has abilities, Peter resolves to do whatever he can to prevent it from becoming a reality. He dangerously gambles by adopting a dark, overwhelming ability that threatens to destroy him - and everything he loves - before he can save the world. After allowing Angela's (Christine Rose) half of "the formula" to be stolen, Hiro (Masi Oka) and Ando (James Kyson Lee) set out to uncover the identity of the Villain who hired Daphne (guest star Brea Grant) by consulting with the person who knows the Villains best... Adam Monroe (guest star David Anders). After the bloodbath at the bank, H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) resolves to get rid of his new partner. Meanwhile, determined to be a hero, Claire (Hayden Panettiere) hits the road in pursuit of one of the Villains from H.R.G.'s old files. Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) is tempted by impulse and the promise of unlocking the secrets of human ability. Linderman (guest star Malcolm McDowell) and Molly (guest star Adair Tishler) return with a twist. A new romance ignites between two Heroes.

Adam has two things I think that are important:
1. Knowledge on the subject at hand. Adam's been around during all of the things that went down. He's got vital information that can be useful to Angela.
2. Pure Blood. He was empowered long before the Company existed. He is not an artificially evolved human, as many of this generation could be. Remember Kaito mentioned that in the DVD? We still don't know what that is, but there's a good chance he's the Pure Blood.
Other food for thought: Adam may have taken something else in the Vault. There was an empty box in there among the other objects.

You might want to put some spoiler tags around that, ecspider. Some people don't like spoilers.
Anyway, judging from how shocked Angela seemed in the commercials, I doubt her original plan was to revive Arthur.
Not to mention she seems to of despised Arthur. (Along with Linderman.) Both of them seem to think Arthur got out of control and wanted to become God.

Its not a spoiler when the episode has already aired.

More like the overall plot in this particular set of episodes.

Its just like reading the back of a movie before you watch it.

I don't think that he was taken out of the coffin to revive a decayed arthur that was meant to be dead for over a year...

Except the Adam technically wasn't dead. Well, he was, but since he wasn't shot, there was always the chance for him to come back. And what better time than in Villains?

http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/novels/episodes...000&plt=lfKensei died many times in that coffin in the short period that Hiro left him buried there. But, he continually regenerates. Check out the graphic novel, The Ten Brides of Takezo Kensei.

uhm... I was under the impression that Adam can't die. He's immortal. Therefore Hiro kind of locked him away for ever by burring him alive.

Which is what I meant. By shot, I meant in the head, in the permanent death way.

He can die, as can all so-called "immortals," but only through decapitation of a bullet to the "sweet spot."

Can an “immortal” come back from a shot to the head, if the bullet and fragments are removed?

Probably, since Peter came back to life after the shard of glass was removed from his head. I think decapitation is the only sure-fire way to kill them.

if this is the case then why dose everyone think a shot to the head will kill?

Because a bullet to the sweet spot does a lot more damage than a stick or shard of glass.

Because it's a lot harder to pull bullet fragments out of someone's head. You shoot him in the head and bury him somewhere out of the way and your problem is almost assuredly solved.
