Why was it that Future Peter didn't come back to life after being shot while Past Peter came back right next to him from Sylar's nuke. I mean, if you think about it, it couldn't have been the Haitian because they were right next to each other. That's my only question.

Easily explained. If you recall in Season 1 Peter was killed by a piece of glass to the base of the brain, it's not out of the realm of possibility that they would shove something in there to prevent him from returning back to life, seeing as Claire knows about that little weakness.

Plus, they wanted Peter alive and The Haitian can selectively block people's powers.

Pete and Claire regened after the explosion. The Haitian wasnt there until they were evac'd so he had plenty of time to heal. The haitian was closing in on the petes when future was shot so his healing was negated.

So you are saying that The Haitian’s powers are always on but he can let people use their powers if he wants. Something doesn’t sound right about that.

Where did he said his power was always on? Actually, it is a well known fact, since the thievery of the briefcase scene, that the Haitian needs some concentration, even if it's just a little, to activate his power. That's why Daphne could run when he was knocked-down!

Anyway, back to the scene, if I remember well, the Haitian was there, so Future-Peter could have been in a situation where he couldn't heal. He didn't used his power at all before that, didn't even tried, so he couldn't know!

Well known?

Neither Daphne nor hero could use their power in the Lobby (I think that they were in a lobby). The Haitian was not trying to keep anyone from using their power. So I would take it that he dose not have to concentrate He might need to be conscious but not concentrating for his power to work.

What makes you think he didn't tried? He was carrying a formula (ok, half of it) that could destroy the whole world, and you think he wouldn't take any precautions? Such as, preventing anyone from using their power to steal from him? I don't think he's that careless!

I hope this is not to far off of the topic

That argument can go either way.
Dose anyone have an example of The Haitian using his power without knowing that he is blocking someone’s power?

Yea if you think back to the second season.. When Elle (or however you spell it) and Peter were in the company room with bob.. The Haitian was standing right there and blocked peter's powers so that he couldnt move the cup, but elle was able to shock him on the nose or somewhere.

Yep. It sounds just right, he's done it several times that I can remember. He did it once when he and Eden went after Sylar at Claire's school in Season 1. Eden used her power of persuasion, but Sylar was unable to use his telekinesis.

Yes, he's done this several times. Once was when Matt (in the car with Audrey) try to read Bennet's mind outside of the police station. The Haitian didn't know he was there, but he couldn't read Bennet's mind with The Haitian around.

I think that Future Peter somehow lost some of his abilities, including regeneration, at some point, that's why he had the scar also. Maybe he was injected with the virus and then cured with healing blood like Sylar who also lost most of his abilities.
