Full Version: Was little Noah (Gray?) a "tip o' the hat"

I thought I remembered readin' that Noah Gray-Cabey's character, Micah, won't be appearing on the series much (if at all), since Noah's looking older than his character and his story doesn't really fit in with the Villains plotlines (kinda like for Dana Davis' Monica). So, could the death of Gabe's son, Noah (who could be a "Gray"), sorta represent the idea that Noah Gray (-Cabey) won't be seen on the show anymore? Or, kinda like havin' Thompson, Jr. have the first name of "Eric", a la Eric Roberts, who played "Thompson", besides having the name Noah in memory of Noah Bennet, was the name sort of a nod to Noah Gray-Cabey? Yeah, probably like this idea, it's just a koinkidink...

Just a thought.

Whow... you make that sound really plausible. That's certainly a lot of coincidences.

Yeah, I noticed the Noah Gray connection to Noah Gray-Cabey. Pretty nifty to think about, but I think it's more coincidental to the idea the writers have of Gabriel Gray name his kid after Noah Bennet. But who knows, maybe the writers noticed the other connection too. Double meanings are pretty cool things to observe a lot of the time.

No use in being redundant! laugh.gif

How do we know Sylar's son's last name isn't Petrelli? Although, I love the sound of Noah Gray biggrin.gif

Because that's what it says on Heroes Wiki and Heroes Wiki knows all! laugh.gif

Seriously though, why would Gabriel change his name to Petrelli? Just because Claire found out her parents were Petrelli/Gordon, she didn't change her name. She is still a Bennett.

LOL Noah Gray that is neat. I hadn't even thought of that. Nice:)

It would be unusual for Sylar to change his name after he discovered who his real family was - Claire didn't change her name to Petrelli either wink.gif

I know that the naming of characters after real people as a sorta shout-out has happened in the past (such as Simon and Monty after Jesse Alexander's sons, and the trivia of Laura Lancaster, for which I "won" some HEROES comics* biggrin.gif), so I thought that this could be another instance.

Claire didn't hate being a Bennet. Sylar (Gabriel) commented that he used to dream of finding out that his "parents" really weren't.

I can actually see him changing his last name in a heartbeat.

Totally. After all, he dropped his real name in a heartbeat, to a watch brand and no surname that represented what he did. He's renounced that in the future, bless his heart, so maybe he goes back to being a Petrelli, and Gabriel, having realised his name was from before adoption, perhaps.

Anyone hoping Angela Petrelli calls him "my little angel"? The clue was there all along, Gabriel the angel, Angela Petrelli.
