Full Version: Hiro's ability--saving Ando and dealing w/ Daphne

At the start of the season, we saw Hiro casually rewinding and fast-forwarding time. And now I'm wondering something... We've seen that Daphne is unaffected by Hiro's ability to "stop" time (i.e. slow it down immensely). That makes sense because all Hiro is doing in that case is only affecting the speed of time, and speed is what Daphne can deal with. But what happens to Daphne if Hiro messes with the direction of time (i.e. not traveling back in time, but simply having it run in reverse around him). I don't see how Daphne can deal with that.

I predict it's that aspect of Hiro's ability that will allow him to keep from stabbing Ando while still getting what he wants out of Daphne and Knox.

I'm kinda confused.

If Hiro can reverse time, as seen in the season premiere, then how can Daphne fight against it? Stopping time is only affecting the speed of time, that's why Daphne can still move but just not fast. However, if Hiro is reversing time, Daphne would be reversed with it.

However, if this is the case, why doesn't Hiro just reverse time and bring Adam back? DUH! Because it's too complex a freakin' power! That's why Piper's time freezing from Charmed is perfect. It's on a molecular level, not on a theory! This power of time manipulation and teleportation makes Hiro too powerful. It makes the writers look stupid!

I think that Daphne helped Hiro stage Ando's stabbing for Knox. Daphne was as surprised by Knox's request as Hiro was. Daphne probably ran to Hollywood to get some stage blood and a trick sword while Hiro got something to knock Ando out for a while and write a polite letter for his friend for afterwards.

huh? No clown.

lol, we don't know about that, Roger! Many thing may have happened and one of those may be, sadly, that he really stabbed Ando to get closer to Daphne and, thus, to the formula. No inner plan!

Is it that? Man, I hope not! Maybe we'll know in a week or two, or something! But at least Ando's probably still alive, 'cause he has to kill Hiro!

Funny thing, in the future scene we saw, Hiro accuses Ando of betraying him, isn't that right? Kinda the opposite right now!

And I thing that's it, kinda! He didn't killed Ando, but used him! He ''stop time and teleport, [he] does many thing [Ando] doesn't notice'', and I think Hiro is just doing that time and time again this season! First with the medal+tracker, and now this. So he didn't killed Ando, nor stabed him. Maybe just made a cut in his chest, without getting throught (Hiro is skilled with a sword, he could do that, maybe), and Ando falls unconscious afterward. So my point is, Hiro maybe uses Ando more as a tool than a friend this Volume, and I doubt Ando likes it, thus, the betrayal... Kinda make senses to me, and it would explain everything, even Hiro's action! So for now that's my theory on this episode's special scene!

She can't. But Hiro has never reversed time on the show before, except when dealing with clocks. Oh and a bullet coming out of a gun one time. I think it will be dangerous for the show if Hiro reverses time back like 3 days or something. It will be like time travel, but even more abusable. (In time reversal there are not two Hiros present when time is restarted, but in time travel there would be). Allows for resets too easily.

This sounds good, I gotta watch the scene again to see if I see anything, but sounds good nonetheless
