LOL at hiro saying that
Stunt
That's what he said? I was trying to make out what he said and couldn't figure it out. Now that I know, that's pretty freakin' hilarious.
Leek
Hiro was HYSTERICAL this episode. Flipping HYSTERICAL.
gamepete64
It was so funny. I think they intended it in the way that people(or Americans) think that Asian people look alike.

Millions of people are...I wouldn't know I'm not American.

Best:

"They all look alike."
"That's racist."

"High five, turtle."

Peter/Sylar fight scene!

Any scene with Arthur Petrelli.

Tracy and Nathan vs. Mohinder

Finding out Ando is alive.

Worst:

Wondering why Daphne was affected by the time stop this time.

Matt's storyline wasn't spectacular, nor Hiro's, but it wasn't downright horrible either. More of a neutral thing than a bad thing, but the least best parts in an episode that was pretty freaking good.
evagolden
Yeah, I loved the double-hit from the shovel, especcially the second one when he sees that second painting which looks like the same as the first one, I was like ''oh man, that's not possible''. And him shouting back at Ando as ''how it won't work'', very fun too! The way they resolved the fake stabbing, quite nicely done! smile.gif

Anyway, Hiro was very funny, more than usual actually! Liked it! smile.gif

Matt almost trying to propose to Daphne was akwardly funny, too! happy.gif

Top 5 all-time quote:

"I'm the most special!"

After Peter whups Sylar's butt.
baottousai
hiro and ando exchanges lololol

worst: claire plot. totally predictable
WickedM
"High Five Turtle." was great!
WickedM
Actually I found the whole "They all look a like" exchange very funny. and I say that as an American biggrin.gif

Think it was more a statement that people in general don't open their eyes to see the world around them. Well at least that's how I saw it.

I think its more emcompassing then just "americans" or "asians". I think that eveyone around the world has experienced that moment on a lot of different levels. It's really about seeing a person a not a people.

When hiro kept teleporting back into time, seeing the painting of him getting hit in the head with a shovel, then promptly gets hit in the head with a shovel laugh.gif
themightytruk
I loved all of the Hiro scenes this episode! 'Twas a lot of fun all around. Faking the Ando stab with prank items! Fun with Usutu! laugh.gif Woohoo!

And the Peter/Sylar battle was pretty awesome too! Really cool to see Peter go all out with his powers like that on Sylar.

And Turtle! Turtle was especially awesome this episode! "High five, Turtle!" laugh.gif
cristianoronaldo78
"Mr African Issac ?"
and every other words came from Hiro
chervil
Hands down, "Hi Five, Turtle!" was the best line since "You drink decaf right?"
Bombsmoke
Love love LOVED this episode! The Hiro and Ando scenes were my favorite. When Ando was like, "They all look the same to me," and Hiro responded with "That's Racist" I lol'ed hard. xD

The "go back in time one minute!" thing was funny as well. What Ando said was the kind of question people would ask anyone with a time traveling ability, and the scene sort-of shows that going back in time won't fix everything.

The best single line this episode was "High five turtle!" simply because Turtle is awesome.

The next best thing was the Sylar/Peter fight. It made complete sense for that to happen, and I loved how tired and angry Milo looked this episode. When Peter was beating up Sylar and said the line "I'm the special one!" I just about cheered out loud! Sylar totally deserved it anyway.

I actually liked the Claire storyline. Even though it was a tad predictable, I loved the suspense, and the way that Doyle forced Claire to "choose" between her two mothers was nice. Doyle made Meredith realize how she really was just "the hot aunt" and not Claire's "real" mother. It's nice character development for all of them, IMO.

My least favorite were the Tracy/Nathan/Mohinder scenes. Tracy was awesome, but it was stupid with the way Mohinder just touched her hand after witnessing the fact that she can freeze things WITH HER HAND a while earlier.

I'm starting to like Daphne, she's getting in everyone's business.
Saviour
Dumbest line of the episode has to be Hiro saying "This precog can see the future."

Um as opposed to other precogs who...what? Juggle lemons?

Worst:

Wondering why Daphne was affected by the time stop this time.

Daphne is only not affected by time stop when she is in superspeed mode, in this scene she was normal speed.

Best line was "Time travel will not work!!" it was hilarious.
Auburn Red
Oh hand's down "High Five Turtle" Greg Grunberg has a fun dry way of saying those type of lines that he knows are wierd and then making them funny. biggrin.gif
I also liked the Meredith/Claire/Doyle scene. Especially when he confronted the three of them. It was a nice strong scene for Ashley Crow, Jessalyn Gilsig, and Hayden Panetierre.
I was ambivalent about the whole Mohinder as a mad scientist thing but I did like his scene with Tracy that somewhere the once good doctor is still in there. Maybe we can get him back by the time this dance is over.
I'm also starting to like Daphne, a lot. She's my favorite new character. So her scenes questioning the morality of what Linderman is making her do are pretty strong. In her willingness to steal but not kill she reminds me of a female, Lupin III (anime fans know who he is. biggrin.gif)
Hiro and Ando sneaking up on "Mr. African Isaac" is great! Of course those two never cease to make me laugh no matther what happens.
Least favorite scene: Adam's death no question. I had a feeling his days were numbered in the series. Usually when a new bad guy shows up, the old one doesn't look so scary. But I felt he could have stuck around a bit longer. I would have liked to have seen more interaction between him and Hiro. Maybe a scene where they help each other, without really wanting to help each other.
PetrelliByNature
"Like Noah always says: 'One of us, one of them.' I'm the 'one of us.'"

Go Sandra!

~PbN.

ETA: I also have to add a line from the cast commentary for this episode: "We get every Petrelli on a bed...or slab...this episode. I'm very proud of that." ~Chris Zatta.
lovesdistortion
I agree with alot of you, best line is definitely "high five turtle"

Best scene for me was Sylar/Peter fight. Not only was it awesome, but it showed how out of control Peter has become, and how much more vulnerable Sylar is after the things he has gone through.

Worst for me was Adam's death. I liked the demonstration of Arthur's powers, but I just felt like a guy who has lived 400 years would be a little harder to kill. If he knows Arthur, he should have tried some sort of get away. Guess Arthur is just one scary guy.
miloo409
"High five turtle"
"they all look alike "
and Hiro calling usutu "Mr. African Isaac"
LOL that episode was hilarious laugh.gif
Citizen
Great quote:
"LikaMistaIsaak"
-Hiro

The Matt/Daphne scenes were great too.
mohndrsmonologue
Hiro: "Why does he look so familiar?"
Ando: "They all look alike to me."
Hiro: "That's racist."

and

Hiro: "Time travel will not work."
Ando: "Seriously?"
Hiro: "Seriously!"

I agree with you guys, definitely the best was the "That's racist" scene!

The worst for me was the whole Meredith/Mama Bear/Claire/Doyle scene. It was just so hard to watch! I could never think having to shoot anyone in my family. I'm so happy that Mama Bear finally got a scene where she got to kick a little a**! I've been waiting for that since the series started.

yeah, like how some viewers regularly mistake every new black man on this show as the Haitian when the person clearly is not.

Never had an easier time coming up with funniest line:

Funniest:
Ando: "They all look the same to me."
Hiro: "That's racist."

Had me laughing for a minute straight, especially considering I'm an Asian, which gets shoved into that "They all look alike" category.

Also, the caption "One minute before Hiro got hit." So lawl!
Hopper
I liked all of the Hiro and Ando and Matt scenes.

The really moving scene for me was when Daphne stopped by to check in on Matt every now and then at the airport and finally tells him that he shouldn't join Pinehearst because he's a good person. I loved the both of them right then and there.

At least, if they're trying to do romance between the two of them, at least they're doing it pretty well.
Japert
Hi five turtle . . . I couldn't bear it and laughted like crazy xDDD

Also Hiro's acting after he woke up of his second KO and of course the 'Mr African Isaac' xDDD

I really liked Meredith scenes, she is not a bad actress, we get to see for from her this season I thought she will be, a bit more different, but his personality and acting, as well as her body rolleyes.gif , are just amazing.

funniest Ando/Hiro: Chuck Kim is so cool! .. wish he'd write all the episodes smile.gif

Chuck has written a lot of GNs, as has Chris Zatta. No wonder it had such a comic book feel!

Everything related to Hiro and Ando had me in stitches this time.

Also, Mohinder mentioning his infamous catchphrase again. You know the one wink.gif
Shizniddle Snap
High-5 Turtle is even better than "thank you Turtle."

"I'm the MOST special," Shows that the Hunger really is messing with Peter's head.

The racist line was great! I liked the delivery of "SERIOUSLY!" I don't think we have ever seen Hiro so pissy.

Also, the "One minute before Hiro gets hit" caption was Roflmao genius!

NEWS FLASH:

Everyone that automatically threw Americans into that quote is racist against Americans.

Think about it.

You automatically jumped to the conclusion it was an American thing. It's not. It happens everywhere.

Umm... I'm an American, and I automatically threw Americans into that. Because it's something I hear quite frequently. "All Asians look the same."
It's not racist to think it was a dig at Americans who make that comment.

IMHO Caucasian would have been a better choice. To Caucasians, all other races seem to look similar, likewise, to all other races Caucasians seem similar. It has to do with we are more familiar with the traits of our own race than the traits of another race. Hence, those birds of a feather can tell each other apart but to the Hawk they all look the same.
GoldSeven
Exactly. A Caucasian who grows up in Japan will have little trouble keeping Japanese people apart, but may have problems with Caucasians. wink.gif

Did you know that a few months old babies can tell people of all races apart, but have lost that ability by the time they're a year old? It's because very small babies can't sort information into "concerns me" and "doesn't concern me" categories yet, and later in life, they can only distinguish the people they grow up with.

Amazing nobody has brought that up! I LOVED that one.

"I'm the more special!" was kind of sad, really. sad.gif

High Five, Turtle! laugh.gif
evagolden
I've watched that second hitting again, and I saw a plot hole! So the text says ''one minute before Hiro gets it'', right? However, the time between Hiro's appearing and the second hit by the shovel (well, the first hit, actually, but in this specific scene it appears as the second one) is only 21 seconds approximately! So what happened during the other 39 seconds? laugh.gif

Just kidding there, I just wanted to see that second hitting again! tongue.gif Really funny! But there is indeed only 21 second! tongue.gif

I'm glad I'm not the only one who wanted to go in a corner somewhere and cry. I used to tell people during S1 that if Peter ever said that I would lose faith in humanity (for, um, fictional characters- obviously...) I actually really like Peter's s/l, but that line still shook me.

Fav. scenes:
*Papa Petrelli's hug of DOOM!
*Peter and Sylar's fight.
* Hiro finally using his brain.
* I really liked Matt and Daphne together biggrin.gif
Revengeance
I laughed at Ando's little thrusting action after he got up and said how amazing it was. When Papa P pulled the tube out and breathed again was a good scene/line, too. Oh, and the whole shovel scenario. Comedy gold!

Mohinder scenes are starting to annoy me. Either turn into a bug-man thing or figure out a cure, because plot limbo sucks! And what's with him intentionally grabbing Tracy's hand after seeing what she can do with it? Silly Suresh.
Ard_Choille
I loved this exchange between Hiro and Usutu. I'm thinking that it applies to a lot of the Heroes. Specifically, I think Peter will learn this lesson the hard way too.
Usutu: "You're relying too much on your powers. You forgot how to use your head. When you started to think, that's when you found me."
Hiro: "This was a test?"
Usutu: "Yes. Now you are ready."
Definitely a strong point.
