I can understand being able to phase other people through walls and teleport others by touching them, but super speed just seems awkward. what were your thoughts on this?
fyi i'm talking about the scene where daphne tries to break sylar out of level 5, she also broke flamethrower dude out and they both speed off.

She was able to do it to a guy in the graphic novels as well.

It's confirmed. Her powers are transferable...err.."shareable"? Makes enough sense to me, but I bet Flint was pretty surprised.

oh wow i completely forgot about that. i was surprised when she did in this episode.. should have seen it coming. i just can't help but imagine what it would be like being "pulled" at that speed.. although it really is just a transference of powers i guess, so he's running just as fast.

there has to be a name for that.. like in line of "passive abilities" and whatnot. i need to look up the term in marvel comic lore.

I wonder if she can chose to share it or not... because imagine her holding onto someone's arm and then speeding away, thus tearing the arm off.

From what the GN showed, her "cargo" doesn't run- they get sort of dragged along.

Yeah, that's what the GNs show. That seems to be the case to me.

Well I guess that's how FClaire and FKnox got to the Bennet house to capture peter so fast, before it blew up.

They enter her speed barrier and move in her G-forces. Thats all.

Nice to see it in the show. As BluePrints said, this explains how she moved around with her Pinehearst partners.

he did not get superspeed, it's simply speed, velocity and gravity forces...she was going so fast that he was slightly elevated off the ground
or, the writers just didn't think that one through, its happened on the show before

It's like Hiro, whatever he touches gets tele/time-ported with him. Uber speed works the same way although it appears that she has to have a "hold" on them.

I was thinking of it more like when Nathan flys with other people. Those pple can't actually fly he carries them or whatever. I just thought of the speedsters ability to transport people sort of the same.
If that makes sense.

I saw it more as, "I'm going so fast that I'm just gonna drag you along" than "You can now go super fast cuz you're holding my hand." Hiro carries people along for the ride when he teleports, Nathan carries people when he flies, Claude makes things invisible upon touch. Phasing seems a lot more out there than this.
