I noticed that in the released close up pics of Monster Mohinder, he has scales..which led me to wonder what he could possibly be turning into that has gloden brownish scales...?

Also...the blog refers to the webbed-creations as "cocoons" when discussing how to construct them during production design.

What has scales and makes cocoons?

I understand that the transformation is supposed to be the side effect of his stupidity--however, i still wonder why he is turning into some sort of animal when no other character with abilities displays any zoogenic attributes.

Is there any spoiler info on this? I cannot find any indication or record of his specific changes other than these.

Well, here's some info which you can either take or leave...

does anyone wanna hazard a guess as to what this image is? It's from the GlobalCouch photostream, Jesse Alexander's flickr account. What if that image is what Mo can transform into? ohmy.gif

Reminds me of that movie the fly!

I have more questions than answers. Why would he have to be turning into a particular animal/insect we're familiar with on earth? He may be turning into something more exterterestrial, something abnormal and grotesque.
SuckGas
Perhaps he is becoming Uluru, that rock-like monster we saw on the cover of the 9th Wonder! Comic back in Season 1?

The hissing sound is reminiscent of a rattlesnake, though some swear it's a hissing cockroach. Almost all insects and lizards can scale walls, including spiders. The cocoons seems to echo the activity of a spider, but Moh's are more cellulose than fibrous, and it doesn't appear that he's sucking their blood for food. His chocolate milk diet is straight out of "The Fly", but so far we haven't seen him regurgitating on donuts in order to slurp down the acidic glop. The slime from his hands seems reptilian, as do the scales, so perhaps he's developing an exoskeleton and will be seen molting, like those giant cockroaches from the movie "Mimic." Soon he might develop wings.

I have wondered if he would end up as Uluru for a while. I even considered how Uluru seemed to know Hiro when he spoke to him.

As for the insect stuff--mmm. (Ack*)

As soon as we finally got to see super-hot passionate Mohinder scenes...he started he started leaking weird space-goo and attacking people. LOL:) hehehe.

Yup. Those cocoons look just like the ones used in Alien to store humans for implantation.
I wonder who owns the franchise for Alien vs. Mohinder (or is that Mohalien?)

Those cocoons are disgusting. Imagine being trapped in a warm loft like that.

I didn't read all these posts but I'd like to know where all that goo is coming from. Maybe I don't want to know. blink.gif
Citizen
He secretes it? I dunno lol
KevinFTW
I believe its his dead skin.
Novnelson
Its pretty gross. I have not noticed it coming from anywhere but his hands.

I want to know more about future Mohinder.

Oh no, I fear it might be cockroach mimicry, that would be ironic considering what he said at the begining of Volume 1, he is light sensitive...

I admit at first I hated the idea of BrundleMo, but after seeing him finally get his revenge on Sylar, it's kinda growing on me. What was the escape with Maya, anyway? Was that a Hulk-worthy leap, or was he actually flying? Better yet, why did Nathan not chase him with that blond with Sylar's old power and freeze him in midair? Anyway, I doubt he's turning into anything as healthy looking as seen in the natural world...it will be a: misshapen mutation with mouthfuls of salivation and fingers that flick fine filaments of stickyvation.

Maybe his transformation's got something to do with the location he kept the syringe... or whatever it was... wasn't it hidden in the lizard's acquarium?

Hmm I can't recall that detail. Its very interesting. Im gonna have to watch it again. Good lookin out.

Judging from what Peter saw of him in the future, he was hiding in the darkness because he has a face that would make Jason Voorhees look healthy by comparison. He is changing into something that is:

* Light Sensitive.
* Can make coccons out of slime.
* Heightened aggression.
