Most of the time, when I close a window that was 9th, I get a pop up asking me to take a survey. It somehow gets past the pop up stopper on Firefox, but is there anyway to stop it from the website's end? It's really annoying

Yeah. I think we're all getting hit with it and I don't have a clue how to stop it.
The pop up blocker grabs most of them for me, but several get past...

Hahaha! That thing has been on my nerves...
Somtimes when I click on a thread like 5 of them pop up...
Augh...

Are ya'll using ABP on Firefox? That seems to do the trick for me.
That survey does seem to be coming up a lot more than in the past. I use a PC at work, and until today, I wasn't using the ABP add on for Firefox, but it was just too annoying to be allowed to continue.

I've got and add-on for IE called IEpro7 or something, with a pop up blocker, and I haven't seen a pop up yet.

Not that it matters, but I think I pared down the url for the survey to the id number it needs to generate (though, I could be wrong...):
http://survey2.suitesmart.com/survey.sp?PA...;PLA=;ADI=;REF=If a person were to take the survey, will that make it go away?

Yeah, lately I noticed that the pop up for the surveys occurred more frequently than usual.

Use adblock and or noscript on firefox or edit your hosts file, that should solve it.

edit your hosts file, that should solve it.
Find where the ad is from, block that in the hosts file, should solve the problem.

AdBlock + NoScript on Firefox works fine for me. I don't get popups or anything.

The Pop-Up feeds off the ABP's fear.

Try using NoScript along with the AdBlock.

I just have Fire Fox 3 + ABP. Hvent seen that popup come through. and if something does pop through, I can easily tell ABP to block it to.

A friend of mine uses IE on his notebook and he let me borrow it last night. I noticed when I didn't close the survey box that additional boxes didn't pop up. So, just don't close the first little bugger and it shouldn't be as annoying. Or you could try Citizen's solution.

I tried that and after a while a couple more popped up.

I'd try Dezzie's solution, but I don't know what a host file is.

I haven't gotten it yet today. But it really got on my nerves for the past month. Jeez.
