Seriously.. how many times can they fake out on the deaths?? Nathan, Peter, Ando, Matt... I mean what does it take to get a decent corpse around here? Not that I want to see our heroes die, but this "instant resurrection, just add retcon" business is getting a little much! And just how many more are we going to see before they begin to realise it got old ages ago?

Heh, part of me was wondering if Matt would get some of Claires blood and bring his dad back to life lol. Every death does bring the thought of "oh, they're dead? No worries, we got Claire's blood"

I was actually okay with Matt using his power, but I do semi-agree. I hope they don't keep reusing the same devices (especially one so seemingly powerful).
I love Greg Grunberg, but the thought of them cutting down on the cast was kind of nice.

To be fair, I didn't believe for one second that matt was dead, considering how it happened directly after he said to knox "I can put an idea in your head" or something like that.
That said, I completely agree. Although it would be bad to just be killing off characters left and right, at the same time, faking deaths doesn't get us anywhere but a bit frusterated with the show. It gets old, and even with the deaths of adam and maury, I still kind of consider everyone on the show safe, because of what you said, if someone dies, they just come back either ten minutes later or the next episode.

Either that or the actor gets a whole new character to play with (Niki/Tracy/Barbara). As much as I would love to see David Anders come back, I hope it's only in flashbacks.

Agreed. I'm sorry to all of the fans on this board, but honestly, let Ali Larter rest already...

I don't mind her being on there now...but I think that they're pushing it if they then bring on "Barbara" after Tracy's gone.
I've grown to like all the characters, of course, but of all of them, Matt is certainly not one of the ones I want gone.
We do have a few bodies, mind you.

Now they can just bring back Eden!

Nah, only joking.
I, personally, don't mind it so far. I also pretty much knew Matt would be making Knox see things, starting with Knox stopping Daphne (I assumed she wouldn't die in that scene) and when Knox pushed his fist into Matt I knew that would very unlikely be real too.

It is just too bad Matt is being played for a Sap once again
I am sure that he could have, actually,
should have, read Daphne's mind and things would have come out a little different - but Matt is so in lovey dovey that, once again our Heroes make bad decisions

Wait he didn't read her mind? They did the whole Matt's reading minds FX.
To the OP, hey they got rid of Adam, Maury and Maya in the last two episodes. Hell, that's a start.

I don't get the complaint about Matt and Daphne's death not being real. They didn't use the whole "we-have-magic-blood-so-no-one-dies" routine. They actually showed a good use and extension of Matt's ability, which showed how he could use his power to protect himself and those around him. Also, I have a feeling that, unless Arthur has some kind of haitian power ability to block certain memories, Matt knows that Daphne's not being 100% with him.

Yeah they did the old Matt Mind Meld routine, but I either missed what he gleaned from doing so or it wasn't obviously clear to me! What DID he find out from Daphne? She must have really been concentrating or quite possibly shield.

That's what I saw too b/c right after she got off the phone with Arthur I was like what the hell, how could he not see that she was lying to him?

Yeah, exactly. I think that Lovey Dovey Matt is still a cop and is determined to take down the bad guys - as he knows [not us viewers - yet] what hold Arthur has over Daphne. I don't think it is just taking her power away from her, but there's more!
