Full Version: The Company

Anyone that has browsed the GNs has seen that The Company is a borderline paramilitary organization with vast resources and manpower. Why doesn't it feel like that on the show? Why do I feel like the entire Company is made up of Father/Daughter (Bob/Elle) or Mother/Son (Angela/Sylar) teams with the occasional HRG/Haitian and heroes character guest star (Niki, Mohinder)? I mean, how many times has someone sneaked into level 5 now? I thought level 5 was supposed to be really heavily guarded, and two break outs this season already! (Three if you include Sylar in the last episode).

Does anyone else feel like Pinehearst with its 5 man team is already more powerful that this Company that used to inspire such fear and intrigue to us, the viewers? Do you feel like the company has gone soft? If you remember Hiro's company and the amount of people working under him, that's how I always pictured the Company. Now whenever you see Angela walking around with anyone, anywhere, it's completely empty. What's the deal here? This bring-the-fight-to-them thing Arthur was talking about last week isn't gonna be much of a fight...with the whole no one there to answer the door when they knock-- or in this case break it down.

Sorry for the ranting, I just haven't had anywhere to express my heroes related views before!

I'd appreciate your feedback or ideas on this topic.

You have to remember that Evs really hurt the Company. Before the entire Evs arc in the GN, I think that the Company could have easily stamped down on PineHearst and quickly eliminated, but after Connie the Company was/is vunerable.

I agree that the scope of the Company is never highlighted. For instaance, we see only glimpses of people carting bodies out of the loft/ Mohinder's lab. Were those part of Fallon's support team? When will he make an appearance and use that bullet he's been saving?

Maybe they're just saving money by not hiring a lot of extras.

I'd kill to be a free extra on the show, much less a paid one.

Another question: Who the heck is running Primatech now? Nathan spoke to HRG on the phone, who then shows up with a full cleanup crew. Does that mean Noah has assumed temporary control until Angela wakes up? Talk about a promotion..! And where the heck is the Haitian, anyway, why is HRG teaming with Meredith when his best partner is presumably available?
TeamElle
I think the Haitian is the companies trump card. I think maybe Angela had him go into hiding to keep him safe until the time is right to unleash the-Haitian-with-a-gun combo.
