Now that we know it was Angela's actions that led to Arthur's paralysis, isn't it fitting that he returned the favor in kind?

That's actually what confirmed to me she killed him. Even before he said he like revenge, it just seemed fitting. I wish Arthur had mentioned he never liked Hiro's father before he well... I know more than I can tell.

well.. i do admit that arthurs payback to angela was fitting... but.. i think angela knew of it all along... thats why she sent Slyar to his camp... this is gonna be her retaliation...

Sylar knows that Arthur is a bad guy, angela is telling the truth.. remember when Angela first told Sylar that she is his mother... and then she gave him a "snack" who was this snack, and what was her power? her power was that whatever she touched, she can see that persons history. and now that sylar has this power, and arthur put his hand on sylar, (without taking his power) he knows what kind of person he is... and... before he left to go to pinehearst, he put his head on her (angela) head.. so now he knows exactly what happened in the past... all in all he is playing a role, that arthur (should he know or not) is close to.

am i way off the track here? oh well.. i typed too much...

Pretty sure people arent classified as objects. So no, Sylars new ability didnt help with this.

Which only works if you assume her stunned amazement and horror that he was alive was an act the character of Angela put on for the Heroes audience.

Psychometry doesn't work that way. The writers say Sylar lost all his abilities except I.A. and Telekenisis. How do you suppose he got induced radioactivity and precognition back?

actually if u look up bridget baileys (sylars meal) power on heroes wiki... it is still unknown if she can use her abilities on people... so its still possible.. i mean.. and even if he cant.. he can see the history of things around arthur...

Also iirc didn't Sylar, whilst attempting to rescue Claire from the vortex say that he could "feel the pain he caused her" when he touched her hand? or something like that?

Can't we assume Claire had a piece of jewelry on her hand?
feral
Sylar is good at finding new uses for powers and wouldn't a serial killer "objectify" people, so to speak... and even if you assume that Sylar can't use that power on people Arthur DOES wear that ring...
DVDA
People it is clear as day that Sylar can see/feel the history of PEOPLE as well as objects. As was mentioned earlier during Sylar's rescue of Claire from the vortex. He clearly stated that he could feel/understand the pain and torment he caused her when he "touched" her.

I completely agree with this theory. Since we can assume that Arthur does not know that Sylar has this ability, then Sylar certainly has the upper hand in the situation and is just bidding his time waiting for things to play out before he makes his move.

Again notice the conversations between him and Arthur "You know Peter will never quit...Are we going to go after him" Sylar is a master manipulator. Just think back to Mya/Alejandro when Sylar didn't have his powers or when Sylar rode shotgun with Mohinder. Sylar is always looking for the angle and his motives are his own.

If they (writers) do this well, this could be very good.

doggfatherJ,

Given the flashback we just saw, Angela was convinced that Arthur was dead and cremated.

feral,

Certainly you make a great point here. And I agree with you [and others] on this position. But more than that, the power works on "objects"...period! Two noteworthy things:
  1. Bridget Bailey is not Gabriel Grey...Sylar/Gabe always masters the gifts he takes. and
  2. The power works on "objects". There was never a distinction made [in its definition] between animate and inanimate "objects".
DVDA,

People are objects (animate objects). Strictly speaking, if we define "life" as that which exhibits "movement" then , on the sub-atomic level, everything displays movement (animate and inanimate). You have made an excellent post!
