Considering Angela was essentially brainwashed into a meaningless peon by her husband, and apparently only took over the company after everyone else is dead... Why does The Haitian have such insane loyalty for her? This episode shows that even before the events of season one he worked with her against a higher up in The Company. Is there anything this wonderful woman can't manipulate someone into doing? Thoughts? Ideas? I also should look into making myself a signature and avatar :-p

Angela: "Nathan, Gabriel, Peter, I want you to meet your other brother. I never got around to naming him. I just call him the Haitian after his father."

Gabriel: "Hey bro. Can I look at your brain for a minute?"

Nathan: "Ma! You did get the memo that I'm a Senator? Right?"

Peter: "I thought I was your favorite! How come he got the good dad?"

.. though it actually could be a plausable theory... ph34r.gif

from what I remember wasnt it linderman who said.. something along the line of... "i have a guy, you can trust him" something liek that..? so wouldnt that mean that his loyalty came from linderman... and hes been working for linderman since he was a kid.. remember company man? he was a kid back then when he erased mrs. bennets memory for the first time...

This is the understanding I have gotten from them...

We have two companies.
-Linderman started something, and when Angela and Arthur Petrelli got in a tiffy, Angela followed Linderman who showed her the light.
-The other is led by Arthur Petrelli.

So Angela was really working along side Linderman, who was a higher-up in the Primatech company. Early on in the history of the company, they sent out people including Noah Bennett to "recruit" the Haitian as a young boy who had just discovered himself in relation to his religion and his homeland. He really didn't have a lot more going for him there, and kind of let Linderman take him in under his wing. They probably just wanted him mainly for his power and as a tool, but its not like they were jerks to him or anything, so he probably built up a trust and alliance with the company, including an alliance with Linderman and Angela Petrelli.

Er...why are people pulling Linderman into the Angela-Haitian thing?

And dogg, just how can you assume from that that he meant the Haitian? He was obviously referring to someone who could take Nathan out of the picture.

Thompson got the Haitian, not HRG. smile.gif
You can see it in his GN.

As far as I can tell through the interactions, Candice probably got also recruited by Thompson or Lindeman recruited her himself.

However, my guess through all we know so far is that Angela got her hands on the haitian as a child and prevented maybe experiments and other stuff the company might had pulled on him or at least protected him in other ways.

That would also explain why he told peter that Angela helped him in times of need and took care of him so he does the same for peter now (season 2).
