Full Version: Hiro, why are you so stupid?

Honestly, if you see that somebody's been decapitated, and you see something that looks like their head about 20 ft away, and you can teleport, do you get the hell out of their or do you inspect the head?

Honestly, are the writers trying to make hiro the stupidest character of all?

I like to think of myself as a smart person, but honestly, I'd have inspected the head too. From Hiro's perspective, he was just talking to Usutu. Then all of a sudden his head is substantially separated from his body? That's the kind of thing that captures your attention, whether you want it to or not.

Hiro's done some D.U.M.B. stuff this season, but I can't hold this one against him.

In retrospect, maybe freezing time to check out the head would have worked better.

who says he didnt? Papa Petrelli has that ability also, so he cant be affected by it.

If I went through what Hiro went through on the show, I'd be stopping time every freaking time anything out of the ordinary happened. Sure, it wouldn't have worked in this one specific case, but it is pretty darn silly that Hiro isn't more cautious. (Of course, if he were more cautious, his power would be too unbalancing. So they make him reckless.)

Well... we can definately say now that his "10 years old" self will appear in the next episode already so... -.

Sorry, Hiro was still stupid. After inspecting the head, Author walked up to him before he put his hands on him to suck away his power. Why didn't Hiro jump the heck out of there then? He knew the dude was bad news from his dream... I love Hiro, but they do make him super stupid.

Hmm, the difference of time between Hiro seeing Arthur and Arthur putting his hands on him was 1.75 seconds, I've just chronoed it! It's not stupidity, he just didn't had time to react.

Moreover, EVEN IF he had time to react, Arthus as the same power as him, + telepathy (meaning he would know where he planed to teleport). We would just had lost screening time for a teleporting-chase around the world, screening time that can be used for more important stuff.

I find funny how viewers think the hero are stupid because they get beaten by the villains! Especcially when the Villains is even stronger than Peter were!

Huh?

Anyway, any topic involving the words "Hiro" and "stupid" with "why are you so" in between them generally gets a thumbs up from me. I mean, he's been kind of, well, stupid this season. But the direction in this scene was good enough to suspend my disbelief about Hiro's lack of time-stoppage.

If Heroes is indeed based on the comic book themes, then nothing has to be realistic.
