Butterfly Effect.

What does he care? He could care less he is trying to kill 99.3% of the earth anyway.

Now, if a person on HEROES could actually "reset" time, so if it's as if the whole world's perspective were from 1 year ago according to the time in the HEROES 'verse (like when Superman spun the world on its axis the opposite way), then maybe there'd be a different outcome.

Yet, then, the show would be different or ending with Arthur in power... wink.gif

Also, the writers choose the stories, and this is how they wanna portray HEROES.

That was Adam, dude. Arthur is trying to save the world, or so he believes. "I don't see it that way," and all that.

Arthur has decades of experience dealing with powers and perhaps already knows what the other time travelers on the show either don't or don't completely understand.

Messing with time is very dangerous and extremely hard to control.

Remember Angela's warning to fPeter and her admonishing him to stop fooling with the past and to return to his time? She isn't a time traveler, but understands the potential for dire consequences. It's logical to think Aurthur would have similar beliefs about time travel.

Fhiro talked about riskin' a rift in the space-time continuum in the first season just to talk to Ppeter in the traincar, too.

Totally. Butterfly Effect can't be predicted. He could go back in time and just make it worse for himself. He could go back and stop Angela from killing him, or Linderman from healing Angela, only to be hit by a car a few months later and really be dead. smile.gif Don't play with time. He's learned, just like Angela.

This is exactly why they want rid of time travel.

With this ability your going to get people who forget that they're watching a TV show. If such person did that, then the show would be over in less than one episode.

Yeah, I don't think Arthur would risk screwing things up, especially since he is already (in his eyes) in a extremely advantageous position what with having absorbed Peter's powers. Remember, fHiro spent months (at least) perfecting his string theory in order to go back and deliver only a few sentences to Peter. Obviously it takes a great deal of planning aand restraint to alter time in a way that doesn't wreck everything.

If he corrected all his past mistakes, he would be stuck with a second Arthur that would have no need to change the past. The new Arthur would probably have more abilities and overpower the old Arthur. Thus, changing the past would be good for the new Arthur, but bad for the one that changes the past.

What exactly do you think he should change, anyway?
