RubberDucky
well he was in the building that was on fire, but my guess is that we find that his body was preserved somehow and that all that needs to be done is to pull the glass out of the back of his head to make him come back as the super villain
lauryn
Yeah. something like that. ans since it takes off three weeks later.. we will never know.
KingBlade
Claire survived the fire, and so will he. He has her ability.

No way. They wouldn't have had her use a piece of glass if he were really dead. It looked just like the glass that Sylar stuck in Peter's head. It's too poetic for him to stay dead that way.

Sylar will be back, don't you worry ;)
TheLastAlive
Glass melts so since glass melts it would be "removed" from the back of his head giving him his powers again
pawn6545
not if the brains burn but dont think they would get rid of sylar like that.

How many times should Sylar have died?

1) Kirby Plaza (DEAD. Sword through the heart with no healing powers. So later he is taken away and miraculously healed by a lady with no healing powers. Great idea)

2) Noah slashes his throat but the eclipse miraculously saves him.

3) Stabbed in the back of the head. Should be dead but wont be.

I think it's very possible for Sylar to have survived this. The piece of glass probably didn't stay lodged in his brain considering the explosion. And we saw that Takezo Kensei/Adam Monroe recovered from being blown up back in feudal Japan. Plus, we have this whole deal about Sylar's real parents to wonder about now. Don't think we're done with Sylar.

I've very confident Sylar isn't dead. Mostly yeah, because he's died before this and he always comes back. And they would NOT kill Sylar, they just can't do that.

I agree. Otherwise, why would all the info on Sylar's father's casting indicate that sylar "learns" that he has more in common with his father than he expected.

Its almost implied he survives.

Sylar can't die. He's a fan favorite. The writers don't have the gonads anymore to kill off that beloved a character.
