So there were no other good African-American actors to play the President? It's kind of annoying and removes me from the show. George Takei was one thing and a pretty good choice. Nichelle Nichols was a silly choice since the character was completely unimportant. They could have got anyone. For the President they could have gone with a much better actor, instead they went with Michael Dorn. I understand appealing to the geeks but this is just silly.

So, you're upset at the show because they got an actor?

...that's just silly.
Onimon2007
Who was Nichelle Nichols?
Yamato
yeah because next they'll have j.j abrams as a producer and william shatner as the voice of mr. muggles! Santatongue.gif

seriously, though, relax.
RubberDucky
I am actually impressed that someone could tell it was Worf from that small piece

Who was Nichelle Nichols?
She played Nana Dawson.

You're mad because Worf is the president? That's awesome, and please don't whine about something that's just a casting choice.

Wow, defensive much? I'll "whine" about whatever I want, thanks. If you enjoy the Star Trek actors or just don't care then good for you. I personally think it's silly.

I think Micheal Dorn is a good actor.

And I knew it was him because A. I know what he looks like with out the make-up. and B. I saw his name in the credits. Santasmile.gif Always read the credits.
TBBX
Well he might not show up that often in the show so it doesn't really matter
Besarien
I like Michael Dorn. I like seeing Trek actors on the show too. Built-in fan base and a nice homage to a show clearly admired by Kring and nice homage to President-elect Obama's winning too. Hard for me to imagine why his few seconds on screen would upset anyone.

I was very happy to see Dorn. I saw the name in the credits and I was just certain (I am a major spoiler junkie so thought I would have read about it) it had to be someone else, but was cheering to see him.

o ok bb

Edit: Appropriate macro is appropriate.

If were doing Star Trek let's bring back Scott Bacula and he could be the new time traveler ala Sam Beckett.

That would rock.

Enterprise is shun-worthy.

I say we consider the introduction of Scott Bakula (if it were to ever happen) as a Quantam Leap nod.

'Cause Enterprise sucked.

As stated on previous posts, if Patrick Stewart appears, I will {**}; however, if LeVar Burton appears, I think I will quit TV all together. I'm speculative that they could get Nimoy, but if they do, that would also be worthy of {**} pants. For some reason, I think the inclusion of Marina Siritis as Sylar's mother would be reasonable. Negligible to good inclusions would be Brett Spinner (good); Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, and Walter Koenig. I read Will Wheaton keeps on being turned down for parts on for the show ... which is awesome.

The funny part will be will a few of Quinto's co-stars from the new movie make an appearance which will be confusing to say the least.

Live long and save the cheerleader.

Michael Dorn=Barack Obama

So timely and appropriate! Michael came a long way, From CHiPS to The President of the USA!
