Another (mid) season ends with Sylar seemingly dead. How many times can they milk that cow?
Any bets on a flaming torch Meredith soon?

Finally. Where the hell were the Specials that work for Primatech? Do they need a bailout to pay them or something? I was so hopping for tons and tons of specials shooting all kinds of things at each other. Oh well!

I agree! With offices around the world I was under the impression it was a large organization. It would've been cool to see an army go up against Sylar. They'd still loose because hes unstoppable now hes gone all badass on us.

I believe that they explained why the building was so empty in a previous episode. I don't remember which one, but if memory serves, it's the one where Matt and Daphne show up.

Look at the Assignment Tracker Map. Switch to assignments only and take a look at the Primatech agents around the map. That should answer your question.

1: There's no chance that Sylar's dead. He took a piece of glass to the back of the head. So did Peter. Claire got a stick in the same spot.
2: How many times can they milk it? Umm... assuming Sylar is actually "seemingly dead" (a large assumption as explained in #1) this would make it the...2nd time.

Umm..

This
Is
A
Television
Show
Not
A
Major
Motion
Picture

The Special Effects for what you were hoping for would have destroyed the budget for the show.

The "cliff hanger" for the volume was Nathan's betrayal, not anybody's apparent death.

Exactly, plus a finale with a bunch of specials battling specials would've really seemed like a concoction coming out of nowhere since there's absolutely no reason for it. It would've just seemed like they said "whatever let's just have a big battle for no apparent reason". The building had been pretty much vacated by the time Matt released Angela from Arthur's hold, he stated it was deserted.

Yes, Primatech was crumbling figuratively before it ever did literally - HRG was right once Bob was gone the company would go down. But pretty much I think Arthur and the escape sent people have the dying ship - i felt it was set up in the way they set the scene very well. Even the contrass between the old looking Primatech and the new shinny Pinehearst.

Exactly.

We all know, as you yourself said "there's no chance Sylar's dead" so there is no drama. No one is waiting on the edge of their seats to see if he lives or not. They didn't need to "kill" Sylar again to have a good cliff hanger.

I'm not sure who you're agreeing with here. You think "killing" Sylar again was bad?

It was necessary. It was the only way to stop him at the moment. It wasn't intended to put him permanently out of the way. It was intended to end his threat at the moment.

Do you watch this show because that has never happened to date. There is a MOVIE called X-Men 2, it sucked, but it has a lot of PEW PEW, BANG, lazers shooting it's really shiny and .. oh .. look at the .. so .. shiny , don't care if makes sen. se .. . sorry got distracted by flashiness and bright lights and forgot to think of emotion and acting and suspense like 95% of the population does 24 hours a day, damn wake up people it's a TV show, it's never going to get the same level of action or CGI as a movie so stop whining about it, it can't happen on a budgeted show.
Sayonara
At least this time when he got stabbed he had a power, rather than being healed by no power from a sword through the chest. And Claire did say something like the spot in the head where it will shut him down or something similar, not kill. I think she knows it wouldn't kill him if it gets pulled out / whatever like happened to her.

Still, the writers need to explain how Arthur can die but not Sylar (I'm guessing the Haitian)
