Hey guys I finally finished the newest review over Dual... took me longer then expected. O wells, I tried my best to make it relevant lulz. I hope you guys enjoy reading the last review for the last episode of Heroes of the year! Yay! *Sorry for any grammatical error... probably a lot.*
Tonight’s episode is given the titled “Dual.” Going by the title of this episode, it seems to foreshadow that there will be an all out war! Of course, we the viewers expect nothing less but something epic for the last Heroes episode of the year. Unfortunately for the fans, war would be the last thing on the viewer’s mind when they’re watching this episode. If you remember back to the previous episodes where the incredibly epic line-up between Arthur and Angela’s crew occured, we all assumed, that there would be some type of battle of grandeur in which Good and Evil would face off. Sadly, this entire idea has been shattered and burned in our face. What we actually do end up with in this episode is a mixture of some old Nathan and Peter brotherly love fights, and some type of Saw rip-off going on with Sylar and Noah’s crew.
The episode begins with a little prelude where Sylar, for the first time ever (I might be wrong), narrates the intro into the episode. Poor Suresh, not only is he turning into a freakish looking bug, but now he has his job stolen from him.

Why would the title "dual" imply an all out war? I infered that there was 2 of something.

Yea maybe I got to far ahead of myself, I guess I was going from the original title of the episode "War." Though being a finale episode I wished there were more action. Though the episode was quite enjoyable if you look pass all the common issues that plagues heroes.

"Dual" as found on this forum is a typo. The name of the episode was indeed "Duel." And yes, it was a let down that there was no really big showdown between anyone. Not even HRG and Sylar!

If it's a typo, it's a typo everyone is making, including NBC and Beemans Blog.

incorrect saberproductions. its Dual, as in Duality, which is what the ep was incorrectly called on the Dishnetwork Info and guide.
The writers chose this as a much deeper meaning for the surviving characters.

Gah, I've heard so much run through of this episode's name, now it's getting as meticulous as Dual and Duel w/ the e's and a's. Anyways my bad for causing confusion... then again it's not all my fault either...

The NBC ad in the top right corner of this page misspells it as "Duel".
