I'm sure this has been covered elsewhere but if Hiro has no power then Nathan giving his picture and info to the president means that he will be detained for no good reason. Unless they find a way to give them back, possibly with a healer???

Well, Nathan never met Hiro after his powers were taken away, so he wouldn't know anything about that. We'll just have to see how it all plays out when/if Hiro is captured.

Thanks for the quick response. Hopefully Hiro gets his powers back. Him being Ando's sidekick seems a bit silly, i know some might think its funny switching there roles but I think they can co-exit with powers.

Hiro being captured and detained for a while could be a good thing. Since he doesn't have an ability anymore it will through a monkey-rench in their trust of Nathan and possibly slow things down for herding specials in.

How does he prove he has no power, by not time travelling? Very hard to prove a negative.

Well in my opinion it would be bad form for the US government to detain an innocent foreign national.

Especially if it has been shown he has saved that country twice from massive deaths.

In my opinion hunting down Specials would make other countries go against the US.

Governments can't didly squat keep secrets.

Perhaps creating a superhuman arms race.

It has been implied in 5YG and IABD that the US is in a state of war.
