Is it true that the dog who plays Mr. Muggles in Heroes, Lestat, is the same dog who plays Maria Shirapova's dog, Dulce, in the Canon camera commercials?
HERΟ
Well, this article says that the commercials use a stand-in for Dolce, but it doesn't give the name of said replacement. And then it links to the commercial, if ya wanted to compare Dolce with Lestat...

Sorry I'm not more help.

ETA that I found more definitive info fer ya! Lestat is one of three Pomeranians from Studio Animals (w/ Akasha and Beowulf), and, when you look at the (currently) second and third images at the credits page, you'll see you can dl the images of Sharapova, and, if ya notice the filenames, she's with Beowulf, not Lestat:

So, does that help?

Second edit... It seems that Maria's been in shots with Akasha, too, and this is a pic of both Beowulf and Akasha. So now, if she's been in commercials with Akasha and Beowulf, then it doesn't necessarily exclude that she's appeared with Lestat... Sooo, can you tell which one is Lestat, in these pics?!?

(Maybe) the last edit? I found a separate article telling that Beowulf, Lestat's bro, is in the Sharapova commercials: http://www.usatoday.com/sports/tennis/2007...camera-ad_N.htm
Also, at Dentsu America, which produced the commercial, is a fun demo reel with one of the Canon commercials, among others. Unrelated, Dentsu's got a fun swf where "koi" follow the cursor....

'Kay, y'all might not believe me, but the Dentsu America website seriously just changed its set-up within the last few hours (fortunately for my own fun, I happened to save a local copy of that koi-following-the-cursor swf - and here it is at a filehost, if ya missed it before)...

And what's fun about the site's revision is that there is now a page of the Canon commercials! So, check out the first ad (just go to the "work" link on the site and then click on Maria's pic; the following's a screencap, which photobucket resized, near the end of the ad...):
Anyway, while Beowulf may have been the stand-in for Dolce, (at least) the framed pic in the middle of the wall in the ad/screencap is Lestat.

Cool!
