Someone better do "The Man with the Golden Gun," cuz I have to admit, that was BA!!

Awesome moment, just the way he said, "Hello Mohinder" sent chills down my spine. When I started this thread I was just thinking of one a day but when I was at work last night it was slow (Retail after New Years is so dead) and I came up with at least 15 moments from this season. So I was wondering how would everyone feel if this topic was changed to the Top Slyar Moments of all time? This way we could include moments from the last 2 seasons. Let me know what you think, thanks.

A good episode for Sylar moments. My favorite Sylar moment of Vol. 3 was "He doesn't see our humanity, Claire." It was in Angels & Monsters when Sylar was in the backseat of the car while Claire and HRG argued. I don't have a screen cap. Someone else is strongly encouraged to post it if they've got it.

I don't have it capped, but Sylar torturing the "goon" in Luke's house was pretty awesome.

Wolf, I agree, that torture session was intense! So much gore and violence, but also such amazing lines... "He seems fatigued"... and when he was hitting simons' hand like a buzzer to get his attention... hilarious!

I think that with Luke being Sylars's apprentice, we will see a lot more "Top Moments" in the next couple episiodes.

I start gathering up the bottles for recycling before grabbing a duster and humming a jaunty tune I start dusting around the thread. After a few minutes I look around and see the thread is all nice and tidy again. Looks around but something still seems to be off, after a moment I realize the problem*

There really are to many good Sylar moments just from the last couple episodes alone for this to stay a Top 25 Moments of Volume 3. I mean when Sylar just said, "Mommy." the way he did I wanted to cry! So, if a Mod sees this can we please change the title to something alone the lines of the top sylar moments of all time? Thanks!

I loved every second with him and his dad, so I just nominate Shades of Gray, the entire episode.

I think volume four has just as many Sylar moments as Vol 3, and the whole "serial killer" talk was hilarious. In terms of "wow factor", when Quinto flexes his acting muscles, we end up with sheer awesomeness. We need more Vol 4 Sylar Moments! Even him just standing hidden in Dankos house was killer. speaking of which, I cant wait till tonight to see what happens!

I think his whole identity crisis in "I am Sylar" was amazing and really showed off ZQ's acting chops. He can play this serial killer as a gleeful malvolent nutcase or an insecure Mommy-deprived man, all depending on the scenario.
"So tell me, Mom. Why do I feel so lost?"

The episode when Sylar encounters his Dad is also great. "I'm not your apple" and "I thought you'd know when someone was playing possum" are two favorites. But it cracks me up when they're talking about hobbies and he blurts out, "I fix watches", just waiting for some approval.

Claire speaking to Sylar said something like... I'm going to kill you.
Sylar's response... "Everyone needs a hobby."

"Luke. You really got to stop trying to be my friend, or I'm going to have to kill you."

DCG, when does he say "Golly"?

Rosefire - I made a mistake. It is from Season 2 and not Season 3.Sylar is now with the guy that stole Claire's car (Derick) and the wonder twins (Maya & Alejandro).
When they stopped at a small store Derick sees a newspaper saying that Maya & Alejandro are murders. Newspaper is in Spanish, Derick says something to the effect of 'there are murderers in the car with us'. To that comment Sylar says "Golly". Soon after wards we see Derick dead on the ground near the telephone.

Heroes Season 2: Episode 4: The Kindness of Strangers

4th COMMERCIAL BREAK!
+ Nathan is organizing pictures he has
+ Nathan puts a picture of himself next to Peters
+ His reflection in the mirror looks like his face but, burnt
+ He punches the mirror and yells at it
+ His hand is bleeding
+ Claire gets home late
+ West tells her that she needs to come up with consistent lies
+ Claire kisses him goodnight
+ Derek looks at the newspaper and sees Maya and Alejandro's pictures
+ Derek wants to distract them
+ Sylar most likely kills Derek
+ Sylar asks them what is going on
+ Sylar tells them that Derek is calling the police
+ Alejandro stops Maya from using her power
+ Sylar tells them that Maya and Alejandro may have a chance
+ He gets ready to drive off
+ Derek is dead by the pay phone with a cockroach crawling by

Yep that would have to be one of my favourites as well.
I'm not sure whether I'm quoting it right but here goes:
"What's your brother's name? Kyle? Lyle, he's going to die too".
"Cake" of course.

Apart from the funny moments, Zachary Quinto is one of the best actors on the show, so in honour of that some 'serious favourites':

• scaring Micah away to save his life
• the genuine concern for Peter
• the truly scary scene where he chases Claire around the house and gets what he wants. Sure there's the funny quote at the end, but uptil then it's pretty much creepy assault of a teenager.

I don't know, ZQ seems to get the darkly comical/ disturbing - yet somehow - sympathy inspiring mixture just right.
Tough assignement for Adrian Pasdar in the first episodes of season 4 then. At least I'm assuming we won't see Zachary Quinto for the first few episodes.

He'll be busy being chased around the world by ogling fan boys and girls in love with Spock's pixie ears. XD

It'll be interesting watching Adrian Pasdar do the dual personalities between Sylar and Nathan for a while. Reminds me of what Jack Coleman was doing in "Face the Strange" pretending to be Noah Bennett impersonating Sylar. But Adrian did a bit of that in "FYG" so I'm sure he'll do it again very well.

Are we still on season three? Because one of my favorite Sylar quotes of all time is, "Give me the damn list so I can sink my teeth in!" accompanied by chair-rattling and tears.

I know I'm a bit late, but I just wanted to post this. It's from Volume 5, but I thought it was just a great line.

"Hi. My name's Sylar. It's been about six weeks since I last saw my body.. And I want it back!"

My favourite Sylar moment in Volume 5 so far is "Everybody has big plans for me. I think that's all people have."

That line is so funny because it's true. There seems to be no end to the number of people who want to use him for something.

There are many more, but I've always particularlly liked the following:

"But don't worry, you might actually do some good before you die."

"So I suppose you know why I'm here." (It's just great how he says it kind of suprised that Isaac isn't afraid.)

"Eat your brain. Claire, that's disgusting."

"Okay, technically I'm a serial killer."

"Claire's going to be so mad at me."
