I'm sure they were no one important. That's why they had a mask on. It doesn't matter who died, just that people were dying.

The fact that they took off the mask (and revealed) the face of that woman could be important. Who knows.

I think they were just standing in for actors (wouldn't matter too much when they've got masks on). There was no Parkman, Mohinder or Peter in that crowd, so must be the stand-ins.

I think it was the blonde woman on the second picture of yours since the blond guy had no mask on anymore.

However, I think they are just random people without text so they will either die in the process so they can show that at least some die (like in the past spoilers that had tolds us that no everyone will survive) but It seems as if the dark haired woman and the blond guy might have a bit more to do or be in a few more scenes since they showed their faces already.

As a comparse or a actor/actress that is not a known "star" yet, you get many small roles with text or no text at all. Many just playing a victim that lies dead on the floor with a bit makeup over them.
You don't even see their face. Same goes with "pounching bags" that appear only to be knocked out or beaten up (as example the two guys that tried to steal mohinders stuff and got beaten up by him in volume 3).
So you go in there, play whats needed, get your money and go again.

I was wondering the same thing about who that was - either, like someone mentioned, it was a redshirt to show the danger, or we'll find out in the plane crash if that person somehow survives whether they're friend or foe.

i doubt it's maya as nathan would know she has no abilities.

I guess it will be someone that helps out in the next episode but doesn't survive the chase or gets killed in the crash. Maybe she has a gift that can be of use to Peter such as a long range power as they lack long range powers right now and the next episode looks like a Team Work Theme episode.

There's another angle where she looks more like Maya, but I'll have to watch it again. Honestly, I thought it was Simone at first.

Anyways, whoever flew out the plane isn't important. All of the main characters were accounted for, so it was most likely just a casualty to show the danger of the situation.

it wouldn't be unprecedented. they did it in volume three when angela presented bridget bailey to sylar so he could take her ability. She was on screen all of what, 5 seconds? Only line I remember her having was her screaming as Sylar TKed her.

This is from Peter/Mohinder's side of the plane, and there is a woman and a dude in the faaaaaaaar back, and it seems that the dude is only watching as to what is going on.

They won't survive. He/she still had the mask, goggles and headphones on which means they still had that tube up their nose stopping what ever ability they had.

ONE. Besides, it would be kind of a waste to not even SAY it was Sparrow, eh?

I'd say "not necessarily". It could be that whatever they had pumping through them was basically just a sedative, or something to keep just them asleep, very calm, complacent, unconscious, etc. It didn't necessarily have to be a "power suppressant" or something. If said EH had a power that would allow her/him to survive it, it's not entirely impossible that s/he did so.

That said, s/he was just a redshirt, IMO.

What I found hilarious was the Tracy and the other woman was rather calm while hiro and mohinder were screaming like little girls.
It was at least funny to me.

Pretty sure they need the thing removed before they can access their ability. Otherwise, Claire wouldn't have been so hurried to get the mask & nosetube out.

Except we KNEW who Echo was, what he looked like, who played him. We still don't have a clue about how or who Sparrow will be portrayed by on the show.

You know that everyone in the plane besides the main characters are just stand-ins, right? Listen to the episode commentary.. If the mysterious Sparrow Redhouse is in fact in this plane, they are doing with her what they did with Sylar until Zachary Quinto actually came in and used a stunt person as a stand-in.

Also Sparrow would have to be much younger then that lady in the picture above.

We don't know that, all we know is someone got sucked out of the plane, for all we know it could be Sparrow Redhouse. It is unknown when that GN was set, before or after the crash.
