How did the team of military dudes get down from the parking garage?

They were all over the place and then they were completely fine on the ground.

being military elites its not a far cry to say they rappelled down the building. I mean most swat teams have* people that can do it.

Personally i am thinking the teams have specials that are on the teams. Even though that sounds weird

maybe there were just more of them waiting at the bottom in the first place

Rappelling sounds possible, as Noah was driving around for a minute, at most, and the team was already close to the ledge of the building.

My impression was just that Noah drove Mohinder back up to the top level the team was on when they tried to get him the first time. Noah drove around like he was trying to help Mohinder escape, but he was actually driving back up to the team.

Considering Bennett is part of Nathan's Legion of Doom is wouldn't surprise me at all if he simply drove around in circles. In fact, thinking back, I believe one of the turns he took turned them around. The evil!Swat team could have repelled, taken the elevator, and bobbed their heads and pulled an I Dream of Jeannie for all we know. We don't even know what level Bennett stopped on, it could have been one floor beneath the roof.

Yeah I think they repelled b/c they would have military training. I'm sure Noah had something to do with disorienting Mohinder until they got there.

Seriously, though, I think they probably rappelled, or there were just a tonne of them waiting around outside at the entrance. I think they would have had all of the possible exit routes covered.

but i dont think the multiple groups would work because i thought one of the guys had his mask off both times. Could be wrong though (fiancee was asking too many questions, she missed Dual lol)

The guy with the mask off was the same guy Mo creamed with the taxi door.

I'm pretty sure Noah turned around / stalled for time. They put a lot of emphasis on his driving, especially his turns. And at one point, I think it showed him doing a 180.

He was going the whole way down actually if you rewatch.
You don't see him driving up again.
Other than that the parking loot on the top were totally open while the part mohinder got capture was partially closed around which implies it was a different place.
The hunter was at the top and got "door issues" through mohinder and then he all of sudden is around the bottom of the building.

HRG drove Mohinder back up to the guys. If you watch the scene again when HRG gets to where the guys are you can see the taxi behind them, with the door missing.

You mean the fact that they were at the bottom, facing down at the exit doors, with a clear view of the street was just an illusion?

They were all in communication and knew the back up plan. Most if not all parking garages have stairs. How long does it take highly trained guys to run down a few flights of stairs?-probably not as long as it took Noah to do all that loop-around driving. I don't think they repelled (because what's the point?) or waited for the elevator. I think they all just busted butt down the steps, then sent word that they were in position so that Noah didn't have to miss a turn or press the button than causes a tire to blow out.

This is one of the reasons I love this show and this forum.

Something happens on the show, we come here and toss around all kinds of crazy/plausible/interesting theories, then someone comes along and points out the obvious. "They took the stairs."

Here are the screen shots that show Mohinder running away from the guys at the top, with taxi in background and missing door, caution sign with round mirror above and then when HRG brings Mohinder back to the guys, you can see the same taxi, with door missing, same sign and mirror. And the exit sign points Down, meaning go down to exit, so they were not at the bottom.

Conclusive enough for me. I'd have figured even Mohinder would realize they had turned around and were going back up. That's bumbling on a whole new level.

It was my impression that he was just kind of anxious, panicking, upset, etc. You know, if I just had a well armed, funded and trained government task force aimed at some degree of (basically) genocide coming after me like that, I'd be freaking out a bit. It's one of those things that could make you go into a bit of shock.

But then again, especially if were Mohinder, I'd know to never trust Noah... even if he seemed like my only hope.

Considering the viewers didn't notice I don't blame him. He did say, after HRG stopped badgering him with questions, "where are you taking me!?"

That's right. I just stood up for Mohinder. That says something about the improvement in writing

Okay, I watched the episode again and saw the cab in the background. I guess HRG just picked him up, went on a different parking level, then used a more direct ramp to go up to the original location of the Hunter & crew.

I was confused at first, just like Mohinder, but considering the outcome of the scene and the commentary track, re-watching confirms that HRG drove Suresh right back into the lion's den WHILE questioning him on key topics.. The guy is good.

Of course they have specials on 'their' team. Nathan is the worst of them all. Two-faced politician...
