I think Noah arranged for everyone to be on the same flight, because he wanted to take them all to become an underground resistance to the government, but Claire screwed it up.

thoughts?
Synch
Considering that this was Nathan's doing, it's unlikely.

but what about the fact that HRG was copiloting? Could he have possibly hijacked the plane himself?
maxii
I'm pretty sure Noah was just there to help fly the plane and oversee the flight. The decision on who would be on the plane is more likely be up to 'the Hunter' dude and Nathan.

Plus I think there was only one flight to start...

I have to agree that there is no reason for HRG to take down specials. Nathan has something over him and temporarily pulling HRG's strings. Noah is just biding his time till he can pull the rug out from Nathan's feet. HRG might not have planned to hijack the plane but he does think on his feet and it may have crossed his mind as an opportunity. I hope in the next episode we will see. Claire won't trust her dad no matter what he does at this point. Its a shame really. All that he has done for her.

Nathan was stupid to put Peter near any other specials if he really wanted them contained. One power or many wouldn't make that much of a difference when conviction is as deep as Peter's.

I have a feeling that he's planning something to try and take Nathan down. He almost always has a plan of some sorts. Also, a little sidenote: I think it's funny that we've known his true name now for almost two seasons and people (Heroes cast and crew included) still refer to him mostly as HRG! smile.gif

When Nathan and Peter are talking, Nathan asks Peter what his power is, if he can still absorb... based on the fact that he was taken down so easily, it was clear to Nathan that he didn't have the whole "absorb and keep everything" going on, so he didn't see him as a threat. It appears even Peter doesn't realize that he can now only absorb one power at a time.

And I have to repeat that Noah has no reason not to take down specials. He's seen how dangerous they can be, to the world at large and directly to his Claire-bear.
Noah is doing exactly what he's always done.

All Nathan had to go on was Peter's deliberately vague non-answer.
And the strongest man in the world can be taken down by an unexpected attack.

If peter would had still have regeneration he would have recovered from the shock quite fast and wouldn't had been unconsious. Peter also says to nathan what did you saw me do the last time? Nathan says "you flew".
So it was obvious to nathan that peter can only fly. ohmy.gif

HRG is doing what he were always been doing no matter if its good or bad.

No. It was obvious to Nathan that Peter can fly. Not that Peter could only fly.
Like I said, it was a deliberately vague non-answer.

And we knew Peter couldn't regenerate. That was never a question- because he lost regeneration along with all his other powers when Arthur stole them.

Nope I think it was all Nathan. HRG just went along with it
