I really liked this episode.

Loved the Sylar bit. Especially since he didn't kill Luke like i thought he would. Matt's story finally is getting better.. I actually (yes you are hearing ME say this) Liked Claires part. I think it was more to do with Sandra, but still, her story didn';t completely bore me or just ****** me off. I jumped outta my seat at the end when Doyle showed up... adn I knew it was comming...
Looks to be heading in a good direction.

I think I just poo'd myself... Sandra kicks butt! I love her, now! And Doyle at the end?! And Matt! And I know Angela is more involved than we think! She has to be!
ARG! So many thoughts racing through my mind! It was awesome!
I will admit, up to this point, Fugitives hasn't really sparked my interest. Now things are getting good.
rayne
great great chapter, cant say nothin bad about it.

Another solid offering from Heroes (besides the Claire love story diversion)

The series appears to be heading in the right direction, but I hope the writers don't slip back into a Villains' pack-too-much-in-too-fast mode. I'm a little worried they're heading that way, instead of nice, steady building of the plot.

Great episode. The season is getting better and better!
delusions_of_grandeur
That was intense!!

I liked the whole Claire/Alex love story thing. It was a lot more believable than Claire/West.

And the cliffhanger..Wow! blink.gif

It was good. The episode moved along really smoothly, the plot progressed, and everyone stayed in character! I love how Angela, though seemingly at the hand of Nathan, is obviously running things still, and I love the the tension is coming to it's climax between Nathan and Danko. Sandra definitely owned the episode though. If it weren't for her, I don't think that I would have cared much for Claire's part, but the way that she took hold and controlled the situation was awesome!

Oh, and as a side note, I usually am passive about Sylar's role, but I like that they're trying to make him more human. The fact that they're trying to explain his craziness makes me happy, especially since they're making him more human along the way. I just hope that it sticks, and if it doesn't, I think I might just go crazy! lol

Keep it up writers!

I liked this episode. There were some weird choices with music and editing, but overall, it was a good one. The individual story arcs were very good, but I'm not sure how they flowed together very well.

One thing that I loved in particular though was Sandra. That was her best episode yet.
paigequinto
Loved it! the beginning with claire & alex lying to the mom was hilarious

I love sandra. she's pretty bamf.

I want to hug sylar. poor baby.

Die, Danko. Do us all a favor and just die.

Good ep. Not perfect, but good. Best Sandra ep yet.

LOVED this episode. I really hope the ratings reflect it.

Finally! THAT was a great episode! Good Sylar, good Petrelli stuff, even Claire's stuff wasn't bad. Really good. LOVED the Sylar, especially.

Good job! Yippie! I'm really excited to watch next week for the first time in quite a few weeks!

Oh, and Mr. Muggles being back was the best! Loved the sandwich scene! (and kind of nice to see Lyle too)
bhero2all
That Sylar scene was by far the best flashback ever on Heroes imo. Awesome. I also like the predictable but adorable underwater kiss.

Sandra also was a total BAMF! Watch out Noah your wife is gonna take your crown.
DoctorClaude
Best episode yet...as I always say about each episode.

BEST!! Adam Armus/Kay Foster again...just loved everything about it smile.gif

This was a fantastic episode. I loved it. Peter was written great. Sandra was great. Wow, I kept on looking at the time, hoping it doesn't end.

This episode was great. It's the first time in a long time where I cannot wait to see what happens next week. Good stuff. Mr. Muggles with the sandwich was hilarious lol. Claire didn't annoy me this episode, and the Matt storyline is getting interesting.
Kelligan
Amazing Episode! Sandra is officially awesome.

...I just hope that Alex returns eventually, I liked him. smile.gif

I heart this episode! Crappy beginning with all the Alex and Claire stuff. Once it started building with the Matt and Peter stuff I was starting to love it. Then we got confirmation that Peter still retains abilities so no more one ability per touch. Then since I hated the ending to the last episode with Matt drawing himself blowing up Washington DC, I loved how he ended up getting put in that situation with The Hunter. Which now leaves for an amazing episode next week with Sylar meeting his dad (which today we learned why Sylar cuts the forehead) and now with Nathan saving Matt.
Nabeshin
What a fantastic episode. One of the best ever, for sure.
Rebel
Loved it.

Best stuff:

Sandra and Clair's scenes, and Muggles with a sandwhich in his mouth. Alex was nice.

Matt and Peter getting the drop on Nathan, HRG and Stinko (Danko, love the actor, wanna kick the character).

And of course, the heart rending scenes with little Gabriel. And the Sylar and Luke scenes. I'm glad Luke lived.

HRG warning Peter and Peter unexpectedly flying away. Yeah!

For the first time in a long time I was surprised by Peter.

Oh and the surpirse at the end of our favorite PuppetMaster showing up. Creepy. Love it. "Hello, Barbie."
koju737
awesome episode. This is the way heroes should be. The sylar and luke story progressed nicely and the stories were condensed, but long enough to show great character development. Theres not really much more i can say.

On a side note, I dont think peter flew on his own. I thought nathan saved him from the fall and flew off. maybe im wrong though, it was kind of hard to tell.
Saviour
Fantastic episode. Like I needed any more reason to love Sandra. The woman just pwns.
Liv
Sandra totally owned the ep. I love the way she had all the answers and came up with all the important plans. There is a reason they had to mind-wipe her all the time in the first season, 'cause otherwise she's just too smart and resourceful for them!

I didn't like the thing of Matt and Peter both using mind control in the same infiltration, 'cause it just made for a lot of silly scenes of them staring at people funny. Peter is better when he's doing the physical stuff. Leave the mind control to Matt.

I'm not sure how I feel about Sylar's dad killing his mom with a slice to the head. Even if they both have the power to do such things, wouldn't a slice to the neck have been a better choice, since he wasn't trying to get anything out of her mind?

The kissing in the pool scene struck me as really pointless and silly, though it didn't surprise me. I totally knew they were gonna go there.

I really do hope Angela has nothing to do with the "Rebel" messages, since it would just be too easy an answer. I'm kinda hoping it's someone stealing info from her, and she knows who it is and what they're doing, but is just looking the other way. Guess we'll have to see what happens.

Also, I'm really hoping Matt's not gonna go boom! He's still a pretty cool guy, even if he is in line to become the show's next uber. It still feels like he's got some more story to tell. If they kill off anyone with the bomb, I would rather it be Nathan or Peter. . . just 'cause I don't care as much about either of them, and they're also the ones who make the most sense to die trying to save Matt from going boom.
Driving_Mish_Crazy13
Loved the episode. Mr. Muggles with the sandwich was hilarious, as was the whole "Trapped in the closet" scenario. Sandra kicked butt and Claire and Alex were sweet. I actually really like Alex, so I hope we see more of him. The ending with Doyle was quite nice.

But Sandra and Matt dominated.
StephW
Man, that was a fantastic episode. I really enjoyed it, and as usual I don't want the episodes to end. laugh.gif

I always liked Sandra, but this season she's really done some cool things. That's one smart and tough woman. I loved all the Sandra/Claire/Alex/Lyle scenes, and I was so happy with Rachel being there. One of my fave episodes this season.

I felt so bad for Sylar. Poor guy. He was such a cute kid, and it was cool to see what his father could do, but at the same time sad that he killed Gabe's mother. Glad he didn't kill Luke.

Peter and Matt make a great team. They were awesome. I didn't see that Nathan saved Peter at first, but I saw it the second time. It explains the "What do you want? A thank you?". I'm happy to see that Nathan isn't completely bad, just very misguided. I hope they'll solve the Matt+bomb problem without anyone dying.

Rebel strikes again! And again! And a little more.

I knew Doyle would show up at some point. I'm so happy to see him again. He's a pretty cool new character this season.

Two thumbs up, 6 on a dice, 5 out of 5 stars. I loved this episode.

Great episode. They keep getting better! smile.gif

Loving this volume more and more with each passing episode.

I really liked the episode too. It's really starting to look to me like Peter has his father's power. I'll bet both of them can take the powers as we've seen Peter do it but they both have the ability to remove them permanently. Maybe Peter will be able to have multiple powers if he steals them permanently. Maybe not. I liked the Sylar storyline and Matt's as well.
TessaBlues
It seems to me that Peter can now control his absorbtion of an ability. He can obviously absorb through clothing, which is cool. ANd it is looking like he has his father's ability. Still I have to wonder if his ability to absorb by proximity would have natually evolved into touch-based,it seems like it would have given time. And he doesn't take power permanantly- yet.

I knew Nathan wouldn't let anything happen to Peter. He and Peter have their issues but Nathan is usually there to pull him out of a jam. He is putting himself on the line to be exposed, more som since Danko is watching him like a hawk. I love that Nathan and Noah play these morally grey, mole kind of guys. Noah obvioulsy recongnize that Nathan feels the way about Peter that Noah feels about Claire so he gets it.

Loved Peter and Matt double teaming them with mind control. Very awesome. And Rebel is quite the mover and shaker. I'm thinking it could be Micah just because of the hacking factor but I don't know if he has real insentive. I could see Angela tracking him down and using his skills to aid her, because despite her lack of computer skills she strikes me more as the type to be able to plan something full scale like a rebel assult.

I love that Sandra is so awesome. She knows how to make fake ids. WOOT!

I'm still liking the Sylar storyline. Man that guy has serious parental issues.
Alessandra
I, too LOVED this episode! I think it's my favorite one yet...

Now I know without a doubt --- I will be purchasing Season 3 on DVD the moment it comes out! I still haven't bought Season 2, and once I did consider it, but in the end I just cannot do it...

I too found this to be perfect ::

Yes, it seems that Micah, and that chick who uploaded herself to the net are the Rebel! I still think Angela is involved. Just like she is with Noah...

If this is the case, then he will have to start stealing the ability from the person exactly like his father did. I just don't see Peter stealing abilities. Unless of course, it is from a Villain... Santaw00t.gif

Yes. Micah and Hana coauld be Reble but Angela would be their guiding hand. SHe has more experience with this type of thing.

Really liked this episode, and they just might be learning from their mistakes.

1. Peter wasn't stupid this time. He didn't trust Nathan. Him being so stupid and falling for Nathans lies every time was getting old. Glad to see the writers realized this. His need to think through and cleverly use the one-power-at-a-time thing was a clever idea.

2. Sylar didn't kill Luke. Great job. Seeing every special becoming hamburger for Sylar was getting old too. Keeping guest stars alive is usually better. Luke can always pop up again in a future episode to keep things interesting.

3. Like the idea of a Bennet divorce and Claire having doubts about herself because of it. Better than Clair's constant whining about stupider things and uninteresting problems.

4. They made Sandra into a person with a brain and purpose to the story. She is getting interesting, competent, and likable. I want to see more of her. We even saw Lyle. Good moverwriters!

5. They makd Sylar more understandable and interesting instead of a plain old insane psychokiller. Wow, next week's episode is a must see.

6. Nice and unexpected twist at the end with Danko setting up Parkman. I didn't expect that was how it would happen.

7. Claire was not as annoying and her mini romance did not get on my nerves. I almost liked both of them and they didn't overdo the romance. Glad he escaped too as it leaves the door open for a possible return someday.

What if Lyle is Rebel? MUWHAHAHA! He's sending messages from his PSP. I think that's what that was. He's had a chance to look at all his dad's files. smile.gif Or what if it's Sandra? She has clearly shown she is much more intelligent than previously let on. smile.gif

But I like the Micah/Hana/Angela path as well. Who knows though? I can't wait to see who Rebel actually is. And I'm hoping it's someone we've met before. Though I won't have a problem if it is someone new.

Doyle the Puppet Master returns! Thank you, Heroes! That guy is, without a doubt, the creepiest character they've ever come up with. Danko's a jerk. Doyle...*shivers*

CHEERS! Great episode, Heroes team!

AH! I spy a pattern then. smile.gif I totally loved it. The different parts as well as how they came together as a whole. We've now got a bunch of loose endings/cliffhangers, I really loved almost everything in it.

I was extremely pleased about the bomb plot. I LOVE the way it's so totally different from the bomb plot in season one. I was really sceptical of it but it works great now.

Did a new writing team suddenly take over? I noticed a major difference about this episode to Cold Wars. To me, Cold Wars was just full of "blah". This episode actually was pretty good and had plenty of good points. Peter's developing intelligence is a much needed bonus. I honestly never thought I'd see the day when Peter would actually be so darn clever when it came to his ability. Sylar's scenes were bearable and were decently done, including his surprising turn on leaving Luke to live his life for yet a second time. Has Sylar finally begun to evolve to the point where he doesn't have to kill every powered person he meets? Does this also mean he is going to cease slaughtering innocent bystanders when it has no merit to his agenda?

The only blemish was the whole Claire and aqua-kid thing. The second the scenes got annoying to me I basically just zipped right through them with my handy dandy VCR remote and focused on what made the episode good. Doyle's return made the episode especially good as the actor nails the personality of the character down excellent and gives Doyle that amusing charm similar to the Joker. I just hope that this tight writing continues not only for the rest of this volume but for the next season as well.

I agree with everything you just said! It almost seems like I was watching a 'different' show from last week. The Sylar flashback scenes were cool. The characters arent being incredibly stupid. The twists were not as predictable as before ( Nathan saving Peter, Angela's involvement with everyone, Sandra (!), Danko wiring up matt, and Doyle ) All in all it regains the Heroes feel that I've missed several episodes into this volume. My only gripe was the cheese between Claire and Alex in her bedroom..

Looking forward to next week!

I was able to overlook the cheese whenever I thought back to Alex' face when Claire said, "We're having sex". laugh.gif

The show actually got me excited again for a split second. When Peter fell over the side of the building and then a blur flew up and into the sky, I almost thought Peter flew on his own even with telepathy. It wasn't until I backed the scene up and slowed it down until I realized it was Nathan flying Peter to safety. The show hasn't done that to me in quite a long time.

I think the episodes just keeps getting better and better... with the far less predictable twists, especially how the Matt-bomb painting is turning out...

And it's interesting that while Claire's and Hiro's storylines has been near the central one for the past few volumes, this volume seems to have their roles shifted to more of a sideline like the Sanders-type in season 1... Which I think is good because it shifts things around instead of having the same characters always at the forefront...

And Sandra is just great, changing from a rather weak and shafted character in season 1 to this... (though I feel sorry for Lyle... His Dad and his sister lies to him all the time and now his Mom steals his driver license to make a fake ID... LOL...)

And I think what I really like in this season is, they actually have pieces of dialogues that explain why a character can or cannot use their powers in certain situations, and what their limitations are, which makes the plot more solid imo and reduces all these endless forum threads of "Why didn't ____ do _____ with _____?! Plothole!!"

Sheindie
Armus/Foster = exquisite writing
Pokaski/Coleite= Cold Wars

I really loved this episode. I think everyone is starting to come into their own. Claire and Sandra rocked with working to get Alex to New Mexico. I think this romance can pick up next season, when the hunt is over; being on the lame really makes it hard for relationships I think. I wonder how Claire and Sandra will handle their next assignment, Eric Doyle? The whole REBEL plot is becoming interesting as well. I believe that REBEL is a team that consists of Angela, Micah, Monica, Molly, Simon and Monty Petrelli, Noah, and Lyle. I can't wait to see if this is the case, but that would be cool. It would be one kick butt team. I also think that Lyle could be part of REBEL because he was on his ipod before Sandra took his license to make the fake for Alex. He was probably sending the instructions to Doyle to meet at their house that night. Well wait and see. I can't wait smile.gif
Sheindie
bwm - I agree smile.gif but don't think Monica or Molly are involved ..would be cool if Simon and Monty were .. great ep and Doyle is a keeper imo
