I'm glad she is in the show now. And she has a nice butt.

I think Nathan doesn't recongize her, it's been months since that day, I do say if he does know her he would of exposed her, the last thing anyone wants is a teleporter inside the operations.

Doesn't Nathan know that Scott was the only marine Pinehearst injected with the formula? I don't recall Angela ever confirming that Rachel has an ability.
Brennan
Mar 2 2009, 07:11 PM
Yea, only one person got injected with the formula, and he died. She acquired the formula after the explosion. Plus, there's not really any reason to believe that Nathan even knows that Rachel is working for him. I mean he might, but I doubt that he knows every single person he has working for him out in the field.
I'm glad that she's alive and kicking though, and it's cool to watch it all go down when we know from the istory's and such that she has her own connections to Rebel.
Oh, and she's really nice to look at

It's the same reason she was in Pineheasrt, Genetic marking test haven't been invented in this time frame IIRC. Or at least easy to preform ones that Nathan or Pineheasrt were aware of... I may be wrong

She's in deep self-denial/self-loathing. Plus, it seems like she had a bad experience with her Mom's ability. It's explained pretty well in the iStory.

Well, from the webisodes it seemed pretty clear that Rachel resents her special ability. She's keeping it secret right now. We've been getting to see more of her working for the government through the recent iStory. Anyways, glad to see an extended presence on the show from Rachel! Pretty cool.

I thought she was working for the Danko guy. There was a conversation between HRG, and Danko, about spying on the Bennet family. Danko, and Nathan don't seem to agree on a lot of things. So maybe he doesn't know.

As far as Nathan is concerned Scott (super strength guy) was the only soldier injected. And yes, Angela knows everything - usually before everyone else.

Rachel mills isnt a synth, her powers are normal.
in the webisodes she was being interrogated by angel cuz she was hiding leftover formula.
THEN in the iSTORY she was recruiting into nathans program
if you have the time you should check them both out.
its pretty sweet
and her power seems to be teleportation.

Ok. So they take away Hiro's ability to teleport and travel through time yet introduce 3 characters that can do what he does in a round about way? (Including Ando). The over-powered argument is out the window.. People really liked Hiro, kinda baffled by this decision.
At least there's still some formula around potentially..

Well, there seems to be a number of people who have teleportation. Check out the wiki
teleporation wiki. Plus, her teleportion seems to be limited. only "a few dozen feet", according to the wiki.

- Rachel is a natural and her teleportation doesn't work like Hiros so she can't tp to the past or future. Only around the place she is.
- Nathan doesn't know she has a power because the only one injected were scott.
- Angela is the only one person that has full information about Rachel and since she never revealed it to Nathan I kind of think that Rachel together with her mother Leona are working with/for Angela.

I recommend reading iStory. Imo, it's a lot of fun and very interesting. You get some cool little extra info. You also get to know Rachel better.
I loved that she was in the episode, and I was surprised how much she was in it. I'd heard she might appear in this one, but I didn't expect her to be that involved. A positive surprise indeed. Very cool.

David and Ryan were injected but are probably both dead. Rachel was most likely born a HEB.
And Primatech could test your DNA for being a HEB and, after manifestation, test it for certain abilities e.g. telekinesis. Nathan knows about the former (unless it's slipped his mind) but Angela might claim that information was lost in the fire.

This is why I love the whole Heroes EU. Now it's becoming even more common to see graphic novel/webisode characters on the show, which is always good. We saw Rachel in 'Our Father', 'Trust and Blood' and now here. I think she totally deserves her own iStories, webisodes and show appearances, not to mention she looked absolutely stunning last night, something I hadn't paid much attention to while watching the webisodes.

Hiro bends space as well as time.
The method might be different but the effect is there.
Peter as well by extension, although he rarely if never used it of course

Hiro, Peter and Arthur are all on the space/time manipulation page so I guess nobody thought they needed to be on the teleportation page as well.
And I don't think Daphne used the teleport part of time travel. In fact, she and Ando probably never left the Deveaux building.

Well, that ability has it's on wiki entry. Strictly teleporters bend time? I thought Rachel just teleports around her surroundings, not on a different planet/country, or time. Whole different ballparks.
Comparing those 2 abilities would be like comparing Doyle to Matt, or Sylar's TK.

), however, it was cool to find out that she would be appearing in a few eps

.
Now, if tptb could make it so her storyline could play a bigger (or, more regular) role in the HEROES 'verse, then I wouldn't mind.

You got things mixed up.
1. The super soldier program failed. Only one was succesfully injected to the catalyzed formula. He's dead, killed by Knox.
2. Nathan wouldn't have suspected she was natural Special if she was in the program. Not that he's met her personally. He'll only write her off as a Pinehearst survivor.
3. Angela won't tell a thing about Rachel as she is her inside man in Nathan's operation. The Company isn't as dead as she says it is. Or she wouldn't have caught Rachel for the formula and likely some indoctrination.
