So im not the only one who saw the camera go off. I think its Micah aswell the way rebel does things and the speed at which its done it has to be Micah. If rebel has that much control over bulding 26 it makes sense. Also Micah always talked about being a hero and this is his chance.

It's probably Micah with help from Angela. And probably Molly too since Rebel always seems to know where everyone is.

Rebel's been doing a pretty good job, and it continues through this episode. From characters we know, Angela alongside Micah seems most likely.

Originally I was saying Angela. There was no way they'd bring back a pubescent Noah Gray-Cabey to play a kid, I thought. Now the more it plays out, it's gotta be Micah, or at least some team that includes him.

I'm with the theory that it's Micah- but I think it's funny that all the heroes are referring to Rebel as "he"- how do they know if it is guy or girl.. kind of sexist if you ask me ;-)

I think it's got to be at least Micah... or someone with some kind of remote electronics manipulating-type power.
I think it's also got to be at least one other, like Angela, who can actually be the coordination, experience, information, intelligence, leadership, etc. behind it.
Unless he's really been working on being a hero on his own, and has seriously upped his game, I just can't see him doing it alone.

Did anyone else think there was a connection between Nathan saying to Traci, "...I am your last hope.", and Rebel's words to Traci on the computer monitor, "Have Hope."? I thought it was a clear clue that Nathan has a connection to Rebel.

I agree that Rebel isn't one person. Rebel does way too much to be just one person.

I hope it's Micah, he was important along with Hiro in showing people enjoy their powers. Which tbh I find more realistic than angsting over them.
Could still be Hana but I don't think she would tie in with the whole fresh start, dont have to watch the previous volumes approach they wanted with Heroes. Otherwise she makes good sense.

Angela must be involved somehow in the whole rebel thing.
In my opinion, it has to be a group of people working together on this.
When it comes to electronics either micah or leona(if she ends up having this type of ability).
Except if they introduce another new character which I rather doubt.
No matter if Micah or Leona should do the electronics, I also think that Molly or someone with her ability must be involved as well because you definately need a locator in some occassions to be able to send a message to certain people.

I think it's Nathan, it's just by chance, the text was sent to Clair, saying the agents are coming
then Nathan is there flying her out her window.? And the camera turning off at the right exact
time Nathan was pushed out the window? It's someone who can tell the future.
And I'm thinking Nathan has more than one Power..
kojirodensetsu
Mar 10 2009, 02:45 AM
It obviously has to be someone with an ability to manipulate electronics. Micah certainly does fit that bill.. but Micah's profile doesn't really seem to fit with rebel. Rebel has shown sophisticated thinking and planning and Micah was just an easy-going kid that liked comic books. I guess it could be Micah with the help of other individuals.. I'm just a little skeptical is all. The only other character I know that had some sort of electronic ability was that one girl.. wifi or wireless or something.. Don't quite remember what happened to her though.

Rebel is Micah, Molly, and CLAUDE! Micah for electronics, Molly to locate, and Claude for intelligence and being able to disguise himself with invisibility. The Doyle graphic novel all but mentions him.

fact 1: according to GNs has the power to locate people anywhere as there was no way to track doyle after the fire
fact 2: knows when and where people are in danger
fact 3: can manipulate tech
fact 4: pre-cog abilities to predict where HIro and Ando were, as they were off the grid in India

Well, last episode we saw Angela whisper something to Nathan, and we thought it was most likely telling him about Danko setting Matt up as a bomber. But we see this episode that Nathan finds out about that from a phone call, so Angela must have been telling Nathan something else. Maybe that something else was about Rebel, and now that Nathan's seen how far Danko is going, Nathan's sided with Rebel now. Nathan helps Matt disarm the bomb. Tracy gets a message telling her to have hope, and later Nathan tells her he's her only hope. And Nathan later saves Claire from the agents after her. I think Nathan might very well be in on this now.

I definitely caught that. And then he has the whole speech to Tracy about helping everyone all along. It's q possibility he's Rebel's insider source of info, even if Micah or someone is in charge of the actual electronics stuff

I just don't think there's anyone else that it can possibly be other then Micah. I mean, who else do we know of, that's still alive, that can do everything that we've seen done with the computer systems and phones and everything?
It just all fits together. And especially:
From the preview of next weeks episode where Noah tells Tracy they are releasing her if she can lead them to Rebel. Who else would she be leading them to that could logically be Rebel other then Micah?!

i'm on the micah bandwagon, not just logically but wishfully

i miss that kid.
my other theory was that one girl, hana i think, who was sending IMs to ted sprague. but according to google/heroes wiki -- she died right?
so yeah, i'm going with micah unless they don't go for the obvious.
and i see the whole idea of him having a team, but it just bothers me that it would be "REBEL" and not "REBELS" lol

the electronics stuff is a dead giveaway.
like others have suggested, though, i would love it if he had a partner or 'team?' molly would be great for this type of work, and aren't her and micah friends?! surely, if he's active again, he wouldn't hesitate to activate her as a resource.

I have a theory which imo fits perfectly
Its FUTURE PETER!!
here is why I think he is the Rebel:
a) rebel needs to comunicate with machines, I know this points to micah, but since he is a kid and cant not do the following this would either mean he works in a team or its future peter after all .. but I have other reasons for future peter too

rebel needs to have mollys power - to know which hero is where (future peter could have that - I know peter only can have one ability BUT who knows what future peter is capable of - there is still the question if peter touches sylar he can have his absorbation power back through emapthy)
c) rebels NEEDS to be on location
its one thing to know which hero is where but its a totally different thing, that rebel seems to switch his messages on the screen in the exact minute the hunters are not looking at it .. molly cant do that with her power imo, future peter could be invisible
d) when peter flew away nathan asked angie for a good reason why he should follow him
well we dont know WHAT angie told him but nathan had a weird look on his face
e) nathan NEEDS to know who rebel is, why in the world would he say "hope" the exact thing rebel told tracy?
f) the latest gn with dolye in it has someone in it, and dolye thinks it is rebel
it looks like peter to me - at least that cote looks like it
IMO this all leads to future peter who has a lot of powers again, he doesnt influece the timeline directly like in the past but indirect through his messages
PS: Sorry for my bad english

My stock’s on Micah, too.
Though they certainly wanted us to believe it is Nathan, or at least consider his involvement.
But upon checking Beeman’s blog, I noticed that Nathan had originally written a message to Tracy (which he then threw away), and I think that he was supposed to show that message to her; but instead, they decided to stick with Nathan’s “hope” line, to mislead us. Which was a very clever decision on their part, in my opinion. Worked out much better.

Honestly, I think it's a group of people. A network. And I think both Micah and Angela are involved. Maybe Molly, too, but we haven't heard anything about Adair Tishler coming back, so I don't know.
How awesome is that? Micah and Angela working together. Who would've thought? I wanna see them share a scene.

Mar 10 2009, 02:24 PM
I'm positive it's not Angela. This isn't her style of doing things at all.
I'm also equally certain it's not Nathan, for the same reason.
Noah's a possibility, but too obvious and it doesn't feel right. (It doesn't seem to be his way of acting in this kind of situation, although I'm leaving him open as a possibility.)
For it to be Micah is just, imho, ridiculous. The kid's smart, and has the right ability, but this isn't the kind of action he'd take. He wanted to be a hero, like Batman.
Whoever Rebel is, they're at least in their 20s and they're probably someone we don't expect. My money was, briefly, on Mills, but that now seems to be obviously wrong.
