Angela was referring to that file from the second ep of the file she had in bed. I don't think Danko has a power it would defeat the purpose of his position in the plot vs Nathan's. More likely its an emotional moment for the man, a weak point and or/ there we're people with powers invovled and that's why he hates them so.

I think it's something Danko witnessed that's caused him to become so hateful towards specials. He sees them as terrible monsters right now, and I think what Angela was referring to is a personal connection Danko has to a horrible use of a power. Maybe it was even someone close to Danko who had the power. But I'm pretty sure Danko himself isn't a special.

When Danko and Angela met.. Angela said that she was very suprised that he lived through the accident?

It's been pretty thoroughly established by now that the guy does not have a power. I presume Angela was referring to whatever incident caused Danko to hate Specials so much, and Sylar wants to kill him for obvious reasons (the whole "hunting-him-and-wanting-him-dead" thing).

Don't see Danko having an ability...wouldn't make much sense either. I don't think the incident in Angola had anything to do with specials. It was just Angela letting Danko know that she's got dirt on him. Sounds like he committed some very bad acts there which were covered up. The reason why Sylar went after Danko was made pretty clear in the scenes with his father. His father talked to him about hunting the weak prey and how he runs from worthy opponents and so, like Sylar said as he left his father, he was going after the big game.

Additionaly, I loved the way she smiled after he got ****** and left saying she is a very resourcefull woman.

Plus, she's apparently been shoplifting socks again! I'm surprised no one noticed the ones she took out of her purse while on the phone with Noah halfway through the episode.

new BTE 17 reveals that sylar's looking for Building 26's lock up for power collection, Dank is going to become a victim or a oddball ally, Sylar has learned from his father, his 5YG mentality, he has all the power he needs, time to get rid of the competition which Danko wants as well. Unthinkable alliance...

I'd love to think that Danko has an ability, but I think that his only ability is to be a mean BAMF.

I think she was referring to him being the survivor because he is the one responsible for all their deaths. We already know he is capable of it. He was gonna blow up part of DC just to get his way.

danko appears to be an overcompensating guy suffering from little man disease , i don't think that is very special at all.

Or that could also be the case.

Here are a few possibilities:

* Danko witnessed someone causing pain and/or death using an ability
* Danko was made to look bad by someone with an ability
* Danko was betrayed by someone with an ability


If the writers say that Danko never had an ability, I think we can eliminate the "Arthur took his telepathy" theory.

The whose Nathan? Sure he could be anything, but in the whole plan of the fact that this is written material with parts they all play in the story, Nathan is the one hiding his power, if Danko is also it compromises the entire story - you then have two people at the party with the same dress and no where to go or anything to prove.



So this is his version of buying a really fast and big car. lol.

u know, Angela wasen't really lying to Danko about Nathon being the oddball of the group and not haveing powers if you actully think about it.

Danko quite clearly has the ability to totally recover from a gunshot wound suffered only two episodes (and presumably, at most, days)back..

It was such a hilarious scene, I enjoyed every second of it. Angela displayed so much superiority and style, she totally was humiliating Danko just by her attitude. Loved it!


However, I don't think Danko has an ability - and I wouldn't want him to hav any. I'd rather say, there's a dark or weak spot in his past which Angela was referring to.


That's what I thought. There's a certain irony in it.

He wasn't born with an ability, she was honest about that, all she left out was she gave him a synthetic ability sometime after his birth.

It would be amusing if Danko had telepathy and Arthur drained...no, that would be a mad idea, then again a future where Gabriel Grey was able to suppress "the hunger" was a mad idea as well...

isn't the confrontation with danko her way of telling him that she is aware of a war atrocity that he commited against a villiage of civilians and that is why he can't withstand scrutiny and keep his job when push came to shove?that is what i took away from that scene not that he had some ability .

i personally believe that Danko was betrayed by an HEB with Induced Radiactivity, and that he trusted and respected this man, until he blew up danko's village. Danko survived somewhoe, although is now bald from the effects.

Think about the painting of DC and nuclear explosion, and how somehow in the future sylar re-aquired it again..the hint is IR will return.

What better way to bring it back than for it to be the very power and man that danko hates the most, the man who exploded and killed his entire family, and village.

the DC exploding in a nuclear bomb has yet to be expanded on, i mean ome on, Parkman had a vest of C-4, nowhere near the extent of that picture.

If he does, I think he might be connected to Adam Monroe in some way...

Danko knew about Elle and Hiro and I'm sure he never got to meet Elle - I think he has all the files, but Nathan.

He clearly doesn't know that Arthur drained Hiro of Space/Time Manipulation.

Neither of the companies knew about that.

In Pineherst's case, Arthur didn't tell anyone or add it to his file. As for Maya, surely they would've added "Ability removed" to her file.

Isaac painted a nuclear-NYC on that floor. I think Matt just painted DC over NYC but it was the original mushroom cloud from S1.

There we're canvas on sticks on the floor and Peter watched Matt the whole time - there is no way he was able to paint that on the floor. I think when time changed the mural on the floor did - as in it was always painted as DC.

You mean Isaac painted DC going boom?

I think the same thing. This is the 1st post I've read which agreed with me. (Matt only painted DC on top of the old NYC-exploding painting)
Even Danko said "I know where he'll be!" or something, not: "OMG, stop the Telepathic Bomber!"
The mushroom cloud is clearly from Isaac's painting, and Matt just painted D.C. over it, just as you said. But there's no doubt we were led to believe (not just from the finale, but also from the next-episode-previews) that Matt was gonna obliterate Washington. The whole thing smacks of conflicted writers and lack of direction.

Peter says Matt was painting all night, we don't see everything!
