This thread is for those of us who don’t have the time, creativity or technology to make our own fanvids, but we have songs we think would be a good idea for a video.

The deal is that the creators can pop in here for inspiration but don’t need to give credit or feel that they have to make requests. Those who are posting ideas should try to post links to the songs and not just the lyrics, since I doubt people will read every word to every song. That and there is a lot more to a song than the lyrics.

Mods, please understand that this thread serves a different purpose than other music threads (such as songs that remind you of characters.) Please do not merge or move it. Please 

MrsPeterPetrelli already did a 5YG vid. (the best IMO) to this song and I think it would be fitting to put it to the volume four timeline.

Just a gorgeous song with a lot of feeling, perfect for a fanvid. (read: angsty.) The into is just begging to put images to. Unlike “We Are” the lyrics don’t match up as well but for some reason it makes me think of Vol. 4.

A fun, high energy song. The lyrics here are irresistible:

“Handlebars” by Flobots

Yes, I know everyone is sick of this song but that’s not the point! I find it shocking that there has yet to be a quality fanvid. because it’s so perfect. I know it’s tempting to make the visuals very literal interpretations of the lyrics because they fit so well, but please don’t. That’s what this person did and it kinda killed the great energy of the song.

Nice thread, we had one like this awhile back but it died out when the member who started it moved on.

There are two videos that I'd love to see made for Ali Larter's character(s).

The first is Centerfold by J. Geils Band

With such lyrics as below, the images should flow quite easily and plentifully from the show. Plus, it's a catchy tune that's easy to dance to.



The other one for her I'd love to see is by Meridith Brooks, but our censors will filter out the title.

I always though Superman by five for fighting would be perfect for a Nathan centric video. I actually searched for one, but I never found anything for that song other than Peter or the whole cast. I think it fits Nathan more than anyone. He is the most reluctant of the heroes. "I can't stand to fly, I'm not that naive. Men weren't meant to ride with clouds between their knees..." And now that we have a wide range of stuff for him, seasons 1-3 (2 particularly) I'd love to see a fanvid of it. I just have no idea how to do it...
