How about Hiro and Ando hiding among the stuffed animals. Reminds me so much of E.T.

All of Angela's scenes rocked, as usual.

My friends and I all agreed that three scenes were very evocative and shot extremely well and acted well:

The first scene with Denko...creepy camera movements, and very unsettling, and it was just a guy shaving.
The "cold snap" scene with Tracy, very cool, very nice "swooping" camera movements. (sorry about the "very cool." Pun actually not intended.)
The scene with Daphne and Matt. Very emotional. Very well written. Very well acted. Totally threw us all for a loop. my wife was crying.

Great Heroes Episode.

Peter's smirk when rescuing his mother was pretty cool.

Millie: "You look like you've been mugged and the first thing they took was your dignity!"

Denko's scene at the beggining was odd, but damn funny

everything Angela did was perfect, EVERYTHING

Hiro: " CAn you say YATTA" xDDDDD . . . funniest

Tracy and Micah emotive moment was priceless as well as Matt and Daphne's

Daphne: " let me go" T.T . . . "Fly me to the moon" *O*

Ando's energy beam was cool, what exactly his ability does? how is connected Recharging with energy beams?

BEST EPISODE EVER !!

Far too many awesome scenes to put down in one post but if I had to restrict it to two, I'd have to say first of all, Angela's escape. It was just done with so much class. She didn't get flustered or scared, completely kept her head and used her ability perfectly. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if it were Matt on the receiving end of the precognitive insight, he'd be caged before he'd left the car. biggrin.gif

And of course, Tracy and her big moment in the car park. Easily one of the most, if not the most impressive use of powers in the series.

Noah and Angela talking:
"Hate to be dramatic" Oh yeah...
"If I were a better woman I'd suggest you turn me over" "What makes you so sure I haven't?"
"Take my umbrella. Don't say I never did anything for you." "I wouldn't go home if I were you. Don't say I never did anything for you." biggrin.gif

"Heroes change the world. Not diapers"

Angela's little precognitive dream that warned her about agents. Neat touch.

Matt fooling agents and "Aren't you glad you waited for us?"

Peter saving Angela. I just loved his little smile just before he flew up.

Tracy's "cold snap". Faboulous scene and nice reminder of her first use of her power on the nosy reporter.

"Fly me to the moon." I still have tears in my eyes crying.gif

And one more thing: there's been a marvelous music in this episode, especially in three scenes: Hiro and Ando with baby Matt, Tracy's "cold snap" and Matt's and Daphne's farewell. Those scenes were great and the music was just the thing that added to their perfection.

Wonderful episode!

I loved that exchange as well.

Hiro: what are we protecting the baby from? Lead based toys?

Hiro: I was afraid I would cry if I did.
Ando: I'm about to cry right now.

And Hiro talking about his mom, while trying to fit the toys in the bag. sad.gif

Tracy: this is a breezy 68* degrees and I've worked up one hell of a cold snap.

I have to say I'm starting to like Tracy.

Angela to Millie: It's been a bad day.

Millie: You looked like you were mugged and the first thing they took was your dignity.

Peter's little smile at the end.

Micah: "You were definitely never a boy scout"

Tracy: "Why because I'm a girl"

Micah: "No, because the first rule is trustfulness, and you suck at that."

Tracy (trying to do a comeback, but it's half hearted): And who are you, Che?
Micah: Che was running a revolution. This is a rebellion. Choose a side and don't say mine.

Tracy: Go! And keep doing what you're doing!

Good dialogue between those two.

I officially fell in love with Micah in that scene. Move over, Pete.

Naaaaaaah, 's okay. That little smirk did it for me. biggrin.gif

SO many good scenes! The Danko scene was a fantastic start to the episode. Never knew a guy shaving could be so unsettling.

And of course, the final scene with Tracy and Matt was very, very nice. David H. Lawrence was right when he said how this scene would be talked about.

The Tracy freezing the parking garage scene was epic as well, very, very cool (no pun intended). Although that wink almost ruined it for me. Have no idea what to make of that.

The Hiro and Ando stuff was hilarious, although the scene where Hiro recalled his mother's death was incredibly touching. Loved it.

Honestly, can't give any favorite scenes or lines. Everything was great! Took me this long to figure it out, but I'm sold! Though if there WAS a line, it'd probably be Hiro having baby Parkman go "YATAA!!"

I also loved when we saw micah and he had a deep voice... it was very surprising to me
I was used to sweet little micah's voice!

A lot of my favourite scenes involved baby Matt. I have a baby of just a few months older and I kept freaking out when he kept making the same noises and motions as mine. biggrin.gif

But mine can say "Yatta". biggrin.gif

I haven't loved the Yattas in a while...but that was absolutely adorable. What a cute baby!! And so well-trained--did you notice he actually drank out of the bottle when Hiro gave it to him?

My other favorite scene was Angela using her power in her classic Angela style--seeing the attack approximately 10 seonds before it happened, then just getting out of the car and walking calmly away, then joining a man under his umbrella thumbsup.gif If I saw that coming, I would be screaming and running. And then I would be shot. She's awesome.

I loved the HRG-Tracy exchange, but I can't remember exactly what she says, can someone help me?

HRG: I think I can pull this trigger before you can turn me to ice. But I'm not willing to take that bet.
Tracy: I'll take it. While you were playing (?), I was trying to make ice in an oven. This is a breezy 68 degrees and I've worked up a hell of a cold snap.

I know, I couldn't believe it either - I read on Beeman's blog that they were absolutely delighted when he did that. I thought it was really remarkable - either a baby is hungry, then you probably shouldn't a TV series with him. Or he's fed and happy, so you can shoot, and would certainly not drink from a bottle. biggrin.gif

You could see he wasn't hungry, but that was a very cooperative baby.

I have to say my favorite scenes were all of the ones with Angela avoiding capture and Tracy's final scene in the episode.

So, it's not as cool or accessible as the animated gifs ShinyHunter made*, but I "made" a clip over at hulu (which means it'll only last as long as hulu hosts the vid) of Tracy's "cold snap", where ya see the view pan from the agent to Tracy, and then back to that agent again (it was an imprecise deal where the you can only pick startin' and ending points once a second).

Anyway, even though it was a simple expression, with the rest of the effect bein' cg, right after Tracy (Ali) opens her eyes, she has what looks like, to me, a sigh of relief and a content or peacefully happy look, as she sends out that freezin' pulse, as if she knows she's successfully doin' somethin' unselfishly and heroic, which was a cool development of her character. Well, I liked it, anyway... smile.gif

Man, there were lotsa good scenes with character interaction in this ep, already pointed out by others, and this ep's definitely re-watchable, imo! I've watched as it aired, then once again off the dvr for good measure another day, and then yesterday I checked it out with the commentary from Bryan and Masi.

Good stuff!

Haha, good work!

My favorite scene was Tracy's death, followed by the final Statue of Liberty scene, Danko finding Doyle, and the image of Mohinder and Matt with Daphne in her last moments. Micah was surprisingly good in this episode.

GoldSeven, that's awesome! laugh.gif

Daphne: You got baked in the desert. That's not a basis to hang a relationship on.

Oh, Daphne. You will be missed. How you'll be missed. sad.gif

That and the whole Gwen Stefani thing was amusing.
