Micah! Although I wonder how he knew where everyone was going to be.

Comments on the reveal? Are there more members of Rebel that hasn't been revealed yet, or is it just him?
TheLastAlive
I'm thinking it's just him, and Boy did his voice get deep.

When you have that much control over everything electronic, you basically know EVERYTHING. Awesome show!

i'm glad micah is rebel n not some random off the wall person. ive always liked micahs character
aulduron
I think just about everyone figured it was him.
prander
It's no surprise to me that he's involved. That was always a given for me.

But I personally find it difficult to believe that it's only him. I can accept it if it's only him, but that wasn't my first guess.

Yeah, that made me laugh!

And I actually wasn't sure if it was Micah. I mean I had a good feeling it was, but I was leaving a benefit of the doubt that it could have been someone else.
Mask
I can't believe an eleven year old kid is controlling the government!

And yeah, he matured quite quickly! Both on and off the show, as his voice was relatively the same as always at the beginning of Villains.
pjw2000
I think it's just him. But seriously, worse kept secret ever. Almost everyone knew it was him, and when it was him, there was a complete lack of surprise.

See, that's what I've been thinking. Once Micah was revealed, I was like... "Maybe there's two rebel's disguised as one."

That would be a really, really smart thing. Lose one, you still have the other.

Lol yea Micah hit puberty quick. He's a big boy now.
Caffeinedd
I was really glad it was Micah! Bringing two old characters back in one show was pretty awesome, especially Micah. I thought it was going to be him, but I wasn't completely sure they weren't going to introduce some new random person.

He seems like he's matured, but he's maintained his "do good" attitude. I think him and Tracy would have made an interesting team.
themightytruk
I'm pretty fine with this turn events. Glad to have Micah back to the show. He's pretty wise and resourceful for his age. Finally getting to use his powers to help people like he always wanted to, and in a very big way.

It wasn't a secret, the best part was that we haven't scene him in so long, we as friends wrote him off... not the producers.

As to if someone else could be in on it, Monica could be also.
OrangeSodaMan
Micah knew where everyone was because he can tell his phone to find that information out [like how he used his phone to call the fire department to set off the sprinklers instantaneously].

Seems like he can make things do variably more than what their intended use is.
Leek
CALLED IT!
waiheke
i was prepared for rebel to be a small group of people working together so the reveal was a surprise
Aerdna
In the back of my mind, I thought it was him, but I ultimately thought it would've been someone less obvious.

I'm glad to see him back, though! He's matured a lot and I hope to see him stick around. It seems like he'll be very useful in the coming episodes.
Zensu14
Yeah, I thought Rebel might be a group of people because I didn't think Micah would be able to know the exact cafe that Hiro and Ando ended up going to in India.
Begemot Geroi

I'm expecting this week's graphic novel to be centered on Micah; maybe this will be answered?

They have location devices implanted in themselves... He controls machines...

1) inplant devices, 2) technopath, 3) ???, 4) Profit!

I'll accept that Micah was Rebel- of course, I never said he wasn't just that he didn't have to be.

I'm not thrilled with the lack of any kind of explanation or control though. Micah As Rebel doesn't make much sense at the moment, because Rebel acts almost the exact opposite of Micah.

did anyone seriously not see this comming

sooooo obvious
SuperT
LOOOOOVE that we finally got the confirmation that Rebel = Micah.

Please say that he is staying for a while on the show!

You read too much into it and misread how Rebel opperated... He wasn't a "Chess" master. He never gave more instruction then who and where, as needed. He can't be everywhere at once, so he contacted people he knew were close that would help, simple. As for being hands on, as we saw tonight, he was still being hands on, just off screen. No need to drive, walk, or fly 100 miles when you can help with a cellphone while bein MORE hands on with others...
DarkOracle
i wish i hadnt seen his name in the credits, then i would have been a little more surprising, but once i saw it i knew it was him, but man i was surprised by that voice of his, i forgot how young he was in the first 2 seasons
aulduron
As I've said many times: I think it's perfectly in character for him. In what other ways could he better use his power to be a hero?

Yeah, but the location devices tell them where they are currently. Not where they're going to be.

If he tracks them to an airport, then see's what plane they get on then he knows where they will be... He controls all technology... If the government can track you, he can, and much faster and easier...
LoneHero
Micah is one of my top five favorite characters on the show (Behind Matt Parkman and infront of Hiro), and I'm sooo glad he's back. But like someone said: Worst Kept Secret Ever!! Really didn't take much time to figure that out (Second time we see rebel, though I had my hunch at the text in the second ep). Can't wait to see more of him. Yay!
lennybreaks
I think micah was the obvious answer. I was hoping for something more, like nathan.
Leek
Micah was the answer that made sense. Nathan wouldn't have.
themightytruk
I like it when things make sense. Sure it seemed like it was Micah's power being used, and that was relatively easy to see, but that doesn't detract from the answer. It's great to see the character back, and he's gotten a good build-up being a true hero up to the reveal.
prander
I think, if it is only Micah, that it is in character for him. All he has to do is manipulate the tech, which he's obviously very good at doing. He's always wanted to be a hero, this is the perfect way for him to do so.
conspiracytheory
Awesome to see Micah back on the show!

Hey_

Honestly, I can't see why anybody would have thought it would be somebody new.

All the incidents in which we see Rebel's acting hand have "technopath" written all over it.

Occam's Razor.

Still plausible that he is part of a group though.

Occam's Razor.

Occam's Razor was the reason I didn't believe it to be Micah. It didn't make sense.

All of the instances? Including those times when Rebel knew where people were going to go in the near future before even they knew?

As far as it being perfectly in character, it's far from it. Micah uses his ability to help him be a hero. Not to hide somewhere and let other people be the hero.
DannyP
So was Micah supposed to charge into Building 26 and defeat armed men by filling their ears with the sounds of fire alarms? Think about it. Micah has to keep a low profile, if he's going to be saving anyone from the government. And he still saved Tracy on his own. He still saved Peter on his own. He still does what he can to inspire people to fight back. I'm sorry, but he's definitely being a hero.
Synch
My entire point is that this is completely abnormal behavior for Micah. This is not how he operates. It's the reason I'm against him being Rebel alone. Without help, this is not what he would have come up with.
dcg
The idea of Micah knowing where Hiro & Ando would be before they got there is a long shot. If Rebel is not working with a precog then I guess he could have seen the drawing Matt made of Hiro in India (but I don't see how unless a camera in orbit was used and even that is really pushing it).

I still think that Micah is not working alone but with a Precog. This precog could be Angela or one of her grandsons, Simon or Monty. Really one of her grandsons could also be an empath so not only a precog but a bunch of something elses also. This would be good for Micah to work with other children around his own age to save the grown-ups. - This all is just a guess on my part, not a spoiler.

Hey_

So a character being gifted with technopathy starts contacting people through tvs/monitors/text and its NOT the only known technopath?

I fail to see how that is not the definiton of simplicity.

Julius F. Wrek
Synch
Because, quite simply, if Micah is Rebel than he's not a technopath. He also has to be a precog.

Yeah because there have never been characters with duplicate powers...and some of them weren't related either: Nathan/West, Claire/Adam, Niki/Mohinder, etc. They are constantly introducing new characters with powers on the show. Micah was an obvious guess to be REBEL or part of a group acting as REBEL if it was going to be existing characters. But it would have been completely reasonable for people to think that they might introduce someone new as REBEL.

Hello_

I don't agree with that. He could be in league with one though.

However, seeing as a great part of today is tied in to tech, its quite plausible for it to be Micah, and solely Micah.

I'm lost. How do you figure this? Assuming (as we clearly must) that Rebel has updated and unlimited access to: the internet, Building 26's files, any and all surveillance cameras and police bands accross the country, the cell phone logs and trackers of not just the average citizen but also the files logged at NSA, and lord knows what else that he can communicate, retrieve and interpret in fractions of a second, how could he NOT be rendered nearly omniscient by technopathy in a country so attached and besodden with technology as ours?! If he pulled this off in some village running on steam power and horse-drawn buggies, I'd concede your point, but seriously...
*edit* remember the demonstration he gave Tracy in New Orleans? He cross-referenced sites going back decades (involving, I might add, the heavily-protected Corinthian Casino page) in the blink of an eye, clearly disregarding each hit as not being what he was looking for until her birth record appeared seconds later.

I would like to see Micah and Molly working together with Monica for muscle.

Molly finds them, Micah tells the machines how to work and Monica protects them or does things when a machine can't.

Ok and if they took it a little further...

Throw in the Petrelli boys, say one can precog and the other can go invisble or make others invisible and you have a five man team.

They could even have been put together by DL's aunt - Nichele Nichols - who once worked for the company, back when ... she was married to Charles Deveaux, mother of Simone.

But that is all conjecture. Still Molly and Micah seemed to have some chemistry in the S1 finale.
