I know! For a sec there I thought he'd turned into a fully-fledged telekinetic or something!
Caffeinedd
Yea, I was super confused at first!

Honestly, that scene made me teary eyed...
aulduron
I knew he couldn't, but I figured someone was impersonating him.
TheLastAlive
As soon as he started flying i knew something was up, I was thinking it was Sylar.

Me too, but that meant he killed Nathan or West, and someone who can shapechange or illusion.
waiheke
yes it had me wondering for a time but it was a well written interlude between the two characters,i liked it and didnt come away thinking it to be corny.
Zik
I thought it was really Matt, but Peter was holding him and Matt was using his ability to make peter unseen. Never did i wonder why Peter would be doing such a large favor.
rayne
i was wonderin why matt could fly now cos that was a cool scene.

It was a bit like blink.gif woah at first, but it fit together pretty quickly to me that it was Matt using his telepathy to give Daphne a happy moment, and to share it with her. Quite a thoughtful gesture. It's the best thing Matt could do for her as he saw she was dying. Really sad to see her go, though. sad.gif Will miss Daphne.

Who else loved that nod to Superman?
Xodus
I bought it for a second. But knew it had to be an illusion considering what was a weird all too abrupt last season between those two and the flight.

It was definitely the best, most heartfelt moment between this pair. For the first time I actually BELIEVED their love instead of feeling like it was forced. Touching moment.

As a Superman geek I definitely have to say I loved that as well.

After the initial "wth" moment, I figured something was up.
Begemot Geroi
At first I thought it was Sylar and I was like, "Nooo!"

Then I realised it really was Matt.

That was my first thought, actually.

I knew it wasn't Matt though. I can almost buy precognition, although it's not easy. Flight would've been completely unbelievable. lol
DarkOracle
i thought someone was impersonating him at first and then when i couldnt figure who that would be i got confused about how we would be able to get that power
but i really liked what they did with that scene, even if i found it a tad bit long at first until i found out what had happened to Daphne
Japert
The moment I saw this scene I was like WTF, how did he did it, but then you got to understand everything was an ilusion, Actually The fast recovery of Daphne gave me the first clue.
It was a very sweet moment, this is so far the best Heroes episode ever, for me. Tracy, Matt, Angela, Matt Jr and even Sylar's gift.
Best episode Ever, Who is with me ?

PD: Rest in peace Daphne T.T

Thought "wtf" at first and then "sylar" but it was matt all along. Fantastic episode

I accepted that simply because I've been a comic geek most of my life, and a much-faster-than-normal healing cycle is typically part of being a speedster.

My first clue that something was wrong came when Matt started flying. My initial thought was that Sylar had shown up somehow.

It wasn't until she said that bit about Matt giving her a "story book ending" that I realized it was more than Matt trying to convince her he loved her. That was when I started to realize she was dying. sad.gif

I thought the same thing, I thought someone had attained another cloaking/mind control ability and were just posing as Matt, I didn't think he was in her head. Sad to see her go after they said she lived through the shootout at the crash site, only to die a few episodes later. I think Baby Touch and Go might play some rold in bringing her back in some way. It's just my thought so I didn't use any spoiler tags, please add if needed.
Begemot Geroi
It so sucks that they killed her off. What a waste of a good character.
Synch
I'll be disappointed if they go Pushing Daisies with baby Matt. I'm pretty sure they said they were going to get away from bringing the obviously dead back.

They gave a moving, beautiful, poignant death scene and I hope they honor it by leaving her dead. I loved the character, and think Brea is on the way to being one of the best and most sought actresses of her age, but I'm hoping they let her stay dead.
Azure Trayl
I was hollering, "Holy S#*+! Matt can fly!" Then the after he revealed the illusion, I was, "awwwwrr".
A5J4DX
at first i thought it was sylar but then thought he's using his ability to make it look like that XD
Begemot Geroi
That ending was so sad that it reminded me of this.
A5J4DX
poor matt i feel sorry for the guy ;(

The moment his shoes were shown, strangely, I thought it was an illusion. And then I thought: Why would he be making this illusion to Daphne in the hospital unless it meant that - nooooooooooooooooooooooooo! sad.gif

It was a powerful scene, but I agree, such a waste for the poor character, especially as she had just been presumably killed, then reappeared, to be rescued by Matt, only to die for good sad.gif
monalisa
hahaha, this is why i love the internet.

i too thought that matt was either given another random ability, or that it was sylar. and then it got creepy b/c i was imagining sylar in someone else's body and all that havoc he could wreak.

on the downside i think by the time i realized it was an illusion i wasn't so much moved/touched/saddened as i was coming down off my own confusion rush. oh well. still a great scene.
baottousai
yea I almost fell for it too. that scene was so sweet. I watched the episode twice and a teared the second time lol XD
Deyve
I figured it out quickly enough for two reasons:

1 - Matt and Daphne's scenes in this episode were way way way too bright and colourful, made me think of the kind of glamour shot style they use in Jericho, lol.

2 - There's no sign whatsoever of Daphne having any injuries when she wakes up in the hospital room, she's a picture of perfect health just after getting seriously shot up? I don't think so, lol.

Although I didn't figure out exactly what was going on, because I was still like WTF!?!?! when Matt started flying haha and then slowly it started piecing it all together, by the time she told him to let her go I was like "ohhhhhhhhhh, it's an illusion"

Don't know what I thought was going on before that, lol, but it defintely wasn't normal.

But yeah, such a sweet ending to their relationship, but I'm damn ****** off that they killed off Daphne, cause shes' awesome.
