Story
In 1997, a viral outbreak at an Umbrella Research Facility outside Raccoon City released an experimental virus that would lead to the total destruction of Raccoon City through a tactical government based attack that Umbrella hoped would destroy the evidence of their illegal experiments. However, a dedicated group of survivors exposed the truth behind Umbrella's research and brought the company to its knees.
Umbrella began to fall apart, until a larger biological research company: Primatech Research in Hartsdale, New York bought control of the pharmaceutical company. It was, however, unknown to the world that Primatech had been in control of Umbrella for years, secretly funding their research through a private slush fund created by Primatech's founders.
Primatech worked quickly to bury Umbrella's research on the T, T-Veronica, and G Viruses as well as the B.O.W.'s the viruses helped create. However, former Umbrella Research Dr. Robert Lasko was recruited to help Primatech merge its own deadly Shanti Virus with the ones created by Umbrella.
When Primatech burned to the ground in 2007, Primatech's higher ups were sure the viruses were destroyed with the building...They were wrong. The virus spread quickly through upper state New York, causing an outbreak that made Raccoon City look like a quarantine zone. Within weeks, the entire New York state was locked down and the military was called in. Senator Nathan Petrelli has been instrumental in preventing the government from bombing the state until it is confirmed that no survivors are left, until then, he is working desperately to protect anyone who survived the infection.
Many people believe that Umbrella was still operating in secret, while Primatech is getting away scott free...However, a dedicated group of survivors inside the quarantine zone are fighting to expose the truth...

1.) No god modding, I alone (with consulation from the player in question) have the right to determine what is and is not god modding.
2.) No killing other player's characters without their permission.
3.) THIS IS NOT AN IDEALIC WORLD, CHARACTERS WILL DIE. If you put your character into a situation where there is no logical escape, they will not be magically saved. Though, you may be able to come back as a new character...or perhaps, even as a member of the undead...
4.) Anything else, ask me.
5.) No canon characters from the show are playable; I don't want knock offs either.
6.) Character sheets must be approved before you can post in the game thread, which will appear later tonight.
This is my first game on the 9th, but it is not my first game ever. I'm going to start the game once we've got about 10 players or so, and will close the game for new players around the 1/2 way point of the game. So, start getting those sheets up and waiting for approval.
