What would you say of Sylar's morals cause he had no hesitancy in killing "himself"?
Did he perceive the shapeshifter as himself at all, or was it just another ability to him and the face didn't matter?

Good point... I wonder how Sylar's lie detection ability works around a shapeshifter... cause what he's SEEING is a lie, essentially, so... shaking-camera-sound-effect non-stop?lol

It's a new beginning for Sylar. He called the experience "cathartic", which means he purged himself of his emotions and got spiritual (and physical) renewal.
I don't question Sylar's morals because he was able to kill an image of himself. He's killed so many times before, and intends to continue that trend, so this is nothing new.

I'd say he just looked at it like being another power to collect.

He probably didn't look at is though he was doing anything to himself, it was just another power but it was interesting to see him on the other side of it.
