sylar probably plans on using danko long enough to make himself the only real threat HEM. Then since danko is the only one who knows that sylar isn't dead(so far) he would kill him making himself untraceable.
Edit: You know the good old phase "two can keep a secert if one of them is dead"

i don't understand why Danko would ever help Sylar, since Sylar could so easily kill him and like infiltrate their government info o.o and Danko is being such a hypocrite -.-

as soon as Sylar got shapeshifting i was expecting him to kill danko and take his place.
eliminating the middle man, Danko no longer has a use if sylar can become him.

I wonder.
When Sylar and Danko got in to the Garden of Eden..
Does anyone know what was the music that played in the background when they first spotted the shapfeshifter looking like Danko?
The music really got my attention and was pretty good indeed I hope someone knows and can help me with this.
Thanks

Someone really needs to tell Danko what happened to Candice, Arthur, Elle and all the other villains that tried to team up with Sylar

Looks like each of them is manipulating the other.
Sylar pretty clearly likes the idea of getting more powers and becoming the only special person left, and with Danko's help, that becomes a lot easier. Now Sylar is working from within the government organization. With how much power Sylar has, how much he understands specials, and with what a hard time Danko's been having, he knows that Danko has a lot to gain from his help. And besides, Danko may know how to kill Sylar, but to actually get into a situation where Sylar would let that happen, that seems pretty unlikely.
Danko probably wasn't in any position to successfully work against Sylar in the scenarios he was in. Although Sylar didn't seem to have any intention of killing Danko, as Sylar was pretty certain Danko would accept the help. Danko's been having a really rough time recently. The whole breakout occurring in "Cold Snap", failing to get Rebel, and losing 3 agents to Jim Martin, etc. Danko sees from his scenes that Sylar knows what he's doing when dealing with specials, and that Danko could definitely use him to swing things to his advantage. I think HRG's talk with Danko about "one of us, one of them" helped ingrain to Danko this idea of being able to manipulate Sylar to his advantage.
Danko and Sylar could potentially keep this up for a while, but eventually I think this partnership has to come to an end. While Danko is using Sylar to his advantage, Sylar is still one of those threats that Danko hates. If Sylar did successfully get rid of all the others, I'm pretty sure Danko's goal would become finding a way to get rid of Sylar, though even now, I feel Sylar is too much for Danko to handle, let alone after having gained a ton more powers. Right now, it seems like Danko is just delaying having to deal with Sylar, while using it to accomplish the most he can against other specials for the time being. What better option does Danko have?
