Episode 23: 1961
+ Recap of the previous episode
+ Everyone is still digging up bodies as Peter believes that digging up the bodies is wrong.
+ Claire is trying to convince Peter to give Nathan a chance as Peter goes to talk to Angela.
+ Peter is asking for answers on what happened in Coyote Sands because he wants to know the reason why they are digging up the graves. He questions Angela to see if they are really looking for her sister.
~ A flashback occurs going back to 1961 at Coyote Sands
~ Angela and Alice Shaw, presumable Angela Petrelli and Sister, are two girls standing in front of a bus as Chandra Suresh introduces himself
~ Chandra Suresh is giving a tour of the place and tells them that he is there to help.
~ Charles Deveaux, Linderman, and Bobby Bishop, as teenagers, enter Angela and Alice's room to welcome them to Coyote Sands, "Crapola Sands."
~ Bobby Bishop has a crush on Angela as the boys leave.
~ Angela is trying to take care of Alice as she is helping her unpack and trying to comfort her and telling her everything will be alright.
~ Flashback ends, Angela tells Peter that her parents and sister died at Coyote Sands.
+ Someone is in one of the abandoned buildings.
COMMERCIAL BREAK!!
+ Angela is telling everybody that the government rounded everyone up, everyone who had powers and their families, and they all died there.
+ Peter is asking why she chose to bring everyone there rather than explain it in a "restuarant."
+ Angela is telling Peter that she was lucky to survive and the company was started on a vow to never let anything like Coyote Sands happen.
+ Angela is telling them that they need to keep it a secret again and go back to the old methods of blackmail, killing, and erasing people's memories.
+ Peter tells Angela that "it doesn't give her the right to do the things she did" and he flies off with Nathan following right after to bring him back.
~ Flashback of Angela waking up again from a nightmare.
~ Charles, Bobby, and Linderman walk up to Angela's building as she exits and informs her that they know what is going on with her nightmares.
~ Linderman heals one of Angela's scars to prove a point as Angela argues and Bobby supports her idea.
~ Charles asks Angela what her nightmare was about and convinces her to tell them, Angela tells them not to trust Chandra Suresh.
~ Alice exits the door asking what is going on as Angela goes back to tuck her in.
~ Alice tells Angela that she may have the ability to control the weather as it starts snowing outside and Alice asks "Is Dr. Suresh going to come for me?"
~ Flashback ends.
+ Claire and Angela are talking about what happened and how much Angela wishes she had Claire's strength.
+ A sudden gust of wind occurs as Angela tells Claire that this is what happened in her dream and that it must be Alice's doing.
+ Angela runs in screaming for Alice as Claire grabs her and brings her back inside.
COMMERCIAL BREAK!!
+ Nathan walks into Coyote Sands Cafe to find Peter sitting there with a cup of coffee.
+ Peter is mad at Nathan for not being in Washington fixing what he has done and then they start arguing over a childhood incident where Nathan convinced Peter to go watch a Playoff Game.
+ Peter tells Nathan that even when he is generous, there is selfishness.
+ Nathan tells Peter that they need to forgive each other, while Peter responds with "I'm trying really hard."
+ A broadcast appears on the TV in the cafe stating that there is a severe storm warning.
+ Mr. Bennet is walking in the storm as he gets knocked over and dragged away by somebody.
+ Mohinder is the one who took Mr. Bennet as he interrogates him on what occurred.
+ Mr. Bennet explains the situation to Mohinder as Mohinder gives him information about his father working at Coyote Sands.
~ Another Flashback.
~ Chandra Suresh is looking at a file of Alice and Angela as he asks to talk to Angela.
~ Alice follows behind after they leave and she seems to look at another building.
~ Angela is taking a test to see what is behind the cards that Chandra Suresh is showing her, Angela explains that she dreamt about that moment.
~ Angela warns Chandra Suresh that, even though he is a good man, he will kill everybody because he will lose control of the situation.
~ Chandra Suresh tells Angela that everything will be okay and administers her a shot.
~ Flashback ends.
+ Angela is telling Claire that she tried to warn everyone what was going to happen.
+ Angela tells Claire that she needs to deal with what is going on alone as she goes to look for Alice.
+ Claire leaves the building after Angela as the storm ends unexpectedly, Nathan and Peter arrive to find out that Angela is missing.
COMMERCIAL BREAK!!
+ Mohinder is looking around the area and already coming to the conclusions that his father was an evil man and that he caused all those deaths.
+ Mr. Bennet is trying to convince him otherwise and "not to make any assumptions until he knows the truth."
+ Peter and Mohinder go check out an abandoned cabin while Nathan and Mr. Bennet go another direction.
+ Mohinder states that he was destined to repeat his father's mistakes and that he is a selfish person.
+ Peter convinces him otherwise and tells him that he is a good person and that everyone is selfish.
+ Peter states that Angela wants to restart the company again to keep everything a secret, but Mohinder tells him that the experience they Angela and company went through must have affected their choices.
+ Mohinder tells Peter that he hopes everyone has a chance for redemption, even for Nathan.
+ Nathan, Claire, and Mr. Bennet walk into another abandoned building.
+ Mr. Bennet tells Nathan that it is their fault for what is occurring at the moment and that Danko is working with Sylar right now who has the ability to shapeshift.
+ Claire interrupts them after finding the book cover for Alice in Wonderland and states that all she wanted to do was impress the both of them and that she wanted to be "a doctor, a chef, a class president... not an agent."
~ Flashback begins...
~ Charles is telling Angela that they need to escape now while they are changing guards.
~ Angela is worried about what will happen to Alice and Charles tells her that he needs to keep her calm so the plan wouldn't be ruined.
~ Angela lies to Alice about sneaking out for only a few minutes and that she had a dream about Alice being safe staying there at the camp.
~ Flashback ends as Alice tells Angela, "Good night Alice."
+ Angela wakes up in a bed, thebuilding she in has lots of supplies and stacks of newspapers.
+ Angela finds Alice in Wonderland book as she hides behind some items when somebody walked in and down the stairs.
+ Angela calls the person "Alice."
COMMERCIAL BREAK!!
+ Alice was living in an abandoned shelter as Angela is begging Alice to talk to her.
+ Alice starts playing an old 60's song
~ Flashback begins again (I'm starting to hate these things... although very informative and provides character development.)
~ Angela finished talking to the police and goes back to the table where Charles, Bobby, and Linderman were eating at.
~ Charles tells Angela to relax after she was becoming stressed over the situation about the police and offers her a dance to the song.
~ They start dancing as the chef breaks them apart, Charles uses his power to make everyone forget.
~ Angela tells him that she needs to get socks for Alice.
~ They return to their seats as an emergency broadcast occurs that a severe storm is coming and Angela states that they need to go back to Alice.
~ Flashback ends.
+ Angela reaches for Alice's hand as Alice replies, "I'm real, you're not dreaming."
+ Alice tells Angela that she first found the shelter, it was stocked with food and that she did what she needed to survive.
+ Alice tells Angela that she stayed there the whole entire time because she trusted in what Angela said.
+ Angela asks Alice what happened.
~ Flashback
~ Chandra Suresh tries to administer a shot to Alice the night that Angela left
~ Alice uses her power to hit someone with lightning and runs out the door with Chandra Suresh after her.
~ He tries to calm her down and impulsively smacks her in the face as another guy comes in and uses a shockwave to push Chandra Suresh back.
~ A guard comes over and shoots him.
~ Gunfire occurs all over the place as people are screaming and Alice loses control of her powers.
~ End flashback
+ Alice starts crying as Angela tells her that it'll be alright and that she stole socks everytime she felt lost.
+ Angela finally reveals that she lied to Alice as Alice becomes extremely angry at her and almost electrifies Angela
+ Peter and Mohinder arrive to find them as Peter grabs Angela and Mohinder tries to calm Alice down which causes him to be hit by a lightning bolt and knocked unconscious.
+ Angela tells Peter that she needs to talk to Alice as Peter tries to convince her otherwise.
+ Angela tells Alice that they are his family and not to punish Peter for Angela's faults.
+ Alice stops and Angela tells her its time to go with the line "Say goodbye, Alice."
+ Alice replies with a "no" and walks up the stairs as Peter gives Angela the signal to go chase after her.
+ Angela goes outside and sees that she has already disappeared.
COMMERCIAL BREAK!!
+ Mohinder is standing over the graves as Peter gives him a roll of film that he found about Chandra Suresh's experiments.
+ Mohinder tells Peter that he is "not ready to forgive himself yet" and chooses to stay there as Peter leaves with a handshake.
+ Angela is standing in the same cafe she was in with Charles, Bobby, and Linderman as she watches her family eat.
~ Flashback begins once more.
~ Angela tells them that she had a dream about them forming a company and the things that they are going to do will be a "necessary evil."
~ It ends
+ Nathan gives Angela the Alice in Wonderland book as Angela states that she'll never see Alice again
+ Nathan tells her that she doesn't know that and asks her if she wants to join them for a meal as she sits down and Peter holds her hand.
+ Claire is uncomfortable with the silence as Angela breaks it with "So how're the fries?"
+ Peter then tells everyone that they aren't a company and that they need to forgive each other and find a way to make their existence a secret.
+ Nathan tells them that he'll go back to Washington D.C. and fix his mistakes.
+ Claire watches the television to see Sylar impersonating him on TV delivering a message to the people
+ They watch the screen as, for some reason, Angela is smiling.
