Mohinder said he wasn't ready to move on yet, but he says the movie should stay buried with the rest of everything else that happened in Coyote Sands?

And I guess he's staying to dig up some more information on what his dad was doing and how everything went wrong since he stayed behind while everyone else left, why not watch the movie to get some more insight?

Also, his dad slapping up Alice seemed a little sudden and abusive. Maybe we'll finally get some more insight into Mohinder's sister and her role in all of this.

Remember it was 1961, parents were allowed to hit their children, teachers could hit pupils. And considering how out of control Alice went I wouldn't say it was a big deal given attitudes at that time

lol, very true. But he was working with kids that he knew were not natural. Maybe this is why he became so enamored with this topic, that one slap possibly led to everyone's death. He felt he had to make it right and has now left this burden to his son.

A slap has always been a good cure for histrionics anyway. To be honest, considering what Alice was causing at the time, I think most of us would be hard pressed not to slap her once to try and stop her.
