One item I have looked through the forums on and seen no discussion of is the burning of Nathan's dead body. How was it that it appeared to be Sylar instead of Nathan? We know Nathan could not shapeshift and Sylar was really the living Nathan so how did that happen? The only thing I can come up with is that Matt forced the image of it being Sylar into everyone's minds.

It was the original shapeshifter who died looking like Sylar

That was the Martin guy, the original shapeshifter.

ahh thanks to you both, that makes much more sense, is that what they meant when they were talking about a body being in a deep freezer? Or did they mention putting dead Nathan in a deep freezer (in order to bring him back later next season, omg I hope not)? I hope it was Martin they were referring to I must not have paid as close attention to that scene as I thought.

Yea it was Martin.
We dunno what happened to Nathan's actual body. My guess is Matt used his power to block it from people's minds that he dragged it out of the building or something.
waiheke
yeah when horn rim mentions the body in deep freeze it leads us to that scene

Poor Nathan. He gets a lame death, instead of a heroic one, then he doesn't get a funeral, and his family, except for his mother, doesn't get to mourn him because they think he is still alive. I wish I knew where the body was. I would clone him.
