Is anyone else annoyed that they wasted a perfectly good power on some weak one episode character? Ever since Heroes began I was looking forward to seeing this power used by someone majestic - possibly even by Sylar at one point.

But no, it was given to some silly old woman who didn't even make an impact in the episode.

I hope she appears in the 4th season as some dark evil seductress glare.gif

she's part of the Petrelli clan so I doubt we've seen the last of her, though I may just be saying that as I'm hoping they tie up the 1961 episode more than just an explanation of how the company started (seems a little too much screen time for a simple explanation)

I didn't think she looked weak or silly at all. She looked crazy, strong-willed and interesting AND she stood up to Angela! I hope we'll see her again, and I'm sure we will, as fans seem to like her the way we liked David H. Lawrence 17!!

She's our Danielle Rousseau

A crazy chick who's lived rough for years who knows a lot of stuff we don't...

All that is certain is she won't be staying near Coyote Sands, she will likely be being more cautious with how she uses weather control as there are some who would want to capture her (possibly including Angela), it appears that Weather control has the following aspects:

* Flight (through control of the winds).
* Limited Electric Manipulation (through lightning strikes).
* Limited Freezing (through hailstones and cold weather conditions).
* Limited Aquakinesis (through control of where the rain falls and using winds to make larger waves).

Sounds like she and Claude would make a great pairing!

I still believe Alice is Sylar's birth mother.

Why?

1) Because there is no one else who we've yet seen who is the right age to have been Sylar's birth mother other than Angela or Alice or Millie.

2) Because someone's been looking out for Sylar. Why would Candice have dragged him off of Kirby Plaza? How did recently stitched up Sylar who could barely make it out of the door make it through a dense South American jungle and fall, conveniently, in the path of Derek, Alejandro, and Maya ?

Only Angela and the Company had the resources to do this and why would she go out of her way if he was just another killer Special? Because he was her nephew and she owed her sister and feels she owes her sister for allowing the Company to make her son into a monster.

3) We have as yet to be told who Sylar's birth mother is.

Its not unfathomable that Samson Gray stumbled on the place and found this young girl/woman hiding out and took up with her. Then after Samson sells Gabriel to his brother and attempts to kill her maybe she didn't die after all. Maybe she was healed and left crazy and that's when she went wandering back to the place she best remembered to wait for Angela at Coyote Sands.

When I first started reading your post I was thinking... no, no, hugh, no...
By the time I got to the end I still didn't like the idea but put the way you did I can see it as an option (but not likely).
With all that said; it would be interesting to see it played out that way though.
Sampson did a head slice to Gabriel's mom and left her for dead but your right, she might have survived.
Even if Alice is not Sylar's mom; Mom could still be around and ticked off.

If Alice was Sylar's mum, she sure looked like young Alice up until 1980. For some reason, she shed the appearance afterwards. biggrin.gif
Sayonara
And the fact she stayed at Coyote sands...
