I have noticed that the more a person has posted the title under your name changes.. I posted about 11 times since becoming a member and I'm a "Gifted Youngster" How many posts does it take to change titles. Is it the same time each level or are there different numbers for each. There may be a post or a help guild for this but I have not found it. So please clue me in on this process.

Thanks Your "Gifted Youngster" tongue.gif ,

That's just a generic name. You can change it to whatever you want to change it to in your user options.

While BG is right, to answer the actual question you asked, that title does indeed change with posts, if you decide not to put anything of your own there.

As someone who runs a forum, I know that when they change is set by administrators, so Wolfbro would be the best person to ask. If he doesn't know right offhand, he could check (if he's feeling nice tongue.gif ).

Welcome to 9thWonders, hope you like it here! thumbsup.gif

Doesn't it change and like post numbers like 20, 50, 100, 150 and 200?

I forget at what posts the names change since I just went into my profile and altered mine back when I had like 500 posts or something.

Just noticed the thread... Unless things have changed (haven't paid much attention, anyway), this is how it used to be:

As the second person to reach what I believe is the end of the road I'll make it clear for you all. Just to finish Oddball's chart:

1-24 posts: Gifted Youngster
25-49 posts: Savant
50-99 posts: Prodigy
100-199 posts: Apprentice
200-499: Master
500-599: Superior
600+: You get the choice to make your own title. My is "Spoiler Fanatic" (because I love spoilers)... If you don't want or can't think of a title it will stay at Superior until you change it later on.
(Well, I was the 2nd to 300 posts. But I digress... biggrin.gif)

Off the top of my head, I think the chart HERO quoted is still in effect. The only difference is that a member can change their title after they have made just one post.

idallia changed it way back whenever to reduce post spamming.
