Heroes star James Kyson Lee is starring in a new TV movie on the Sci-Fi channel called "Star Runners". In the movie, James plays a space bandit (Lei Chen) assigned to ship a crate with his partner. When they open the crate, they find a girl with special powers. (Think Han Solo.) The film was shot last April in Bulgaria, where there was funky Mars-like terrain. After the the movie had completed filming, about a year was spent in post productions, so expect lots of visual effects and CGI. You can see a whole bunch of alien creatures in the promo video. Star Runners will start airing on the Sci-Fi channel on June 13, 2009 at 9pm.
