E!'s Jennifer Godwin penned a column on the show yesterday morning: Pitch a Fix: Heroes Needs Your Help.

Your thoughts welcome.

Upon skimming the comments left by others, I find it very interesting and perhaps a bit disturbing that many, if not most of the comments are from people who have either given up on the show or are planning on doing so. This is hardly a balanced article, and the responses it gets are hardly balanced.

How do we save the show?

Stop writing articles like this one.

Agreed.

The minute I turn to someplace like E! for advice and tips on how to save a television show is the minute I give the show up for lost- because E! couldn't save a sinking piece of Styrofoam.

I agree, these kinds of articles are intended to continue the negative publicity and lose viewers. All the articles have basically been going this direction over the last year and a half I find. I see Heroes going on for about 6 to 8 seasons and the people who write these articles should understand that. Also, if push did come to shove, I'm sure that Kring as a last ditch effort will set an end date and thus get the official assurance of 7 or 8 seasons, maybe 6.

Jack Coleman remarked about this in one of his blogs, the idea to put forth a press barrage saying how well the show is doing online and in foreign markets and how THAT is more important than fickle tv ratings. He was talked out of it (by Sendhil and Adrian), but the question stands: how do you regain press momentum/hype on the show? I wasn't a fan when the show started, I became one after word of mouth compelled me to, so I have no recollection of the "hype" before the pilot, but it seems to me that what hooked me would be the best strategy at this point: Deliver content so awesome that the dedicated fanbase does the ad-work for you and talks other people into tuning in, rather than do a media-blitz and then shovel a bunch of plot-hole, eye-candy feces..

Well since I consider E! to have just slightly more credibility than a bag lady standing on a street corner, any article they write to me is bird-cage liner. However I did read it and their "suggestions" are absurd! I love HRG and Sylar, but the HRG and Sylar show? Nuff said!

And if I hear one more person gripe about how they show needs to kill off characters than gripe about Elle in the same breath I am going to kill myself! For the last freaking time! Kristen Bell ASKED to be killed off the show! She WANTED to do a death scene! She is not coming back...GET OVER IT!!

Here's what I put:

As I am a fan who has watched this since the beginning and I plan to keep watching Heroes as long as it is on, I don't think it needs saving but I would really like to see Claude Rains onscreen again. I'd also like to see more of Micah and I'd like to see Molly and Monica on screen. As far as I'm concerned Heroes is the best show on TV.

They seriously need to knock it off with the 'Help Fix Heroes' nonsense. It got old when the seven million other publications were on that bandwagon almost a year ago. It's tiring and really, really annoying. My suggestion for 'fixing' Heroes is to never pay attention to pointless, redundant 'articles' such as this one.

The only good thing at all about E! is "The Soup", and that's because Joel McHale is cute, funny, and almost constantly MAKES FUN OF E! for the ridiculous stuff they say!

It's almost ironic that that show is on E!
