I saw that, but like I said, this picture could still be old. Plus, why would this guy leave, only to come back? I thought he was off doing it his own shows now. His flip-flopping is giving me a headache.

Great news is this true, but what is the probability that he made a statement saying he couldn't commit to Heroes in the capacity he was in for the latter part of S3, and then he can all of a sudden come back?
The only thing I can think of is that he is staying on as producer, and maybe this is all of a sudden 'news'..
