It has been brought to our attention that a user has found another way to annoy our members by using the personal messaging system. The moderators have no access to personal messages sent between members unless we are notified by the member about them. Thankfully this event was mentioned to us and we were able to stop the problem before it spreads to far. The part that was alarming was the amount of members that DID NOT report the problem.

We are asking that any member that receives a personal message from a member they do not know, that they suspect to be spam, please message a moderator immediately! We will investigate it from there and take the appropriate action. This thread will be closed so you will be unable to post the information here.

We are aware of the users Maceylove, Maceylove1, and Maceylove12. If these users have sent you any personal messages just disregard them. No need to send us a PM unless you receive something from a different user name then the ones above.

Just to let all of you know, there's another PM spammer that was around this morning. Lisyka was around this morning and has been taken care of.

It looks like it's not going to be as bad as the maceylove issue, but this is a heads up that the moderating team is on it.

This doesn't seem to be an issue anymore, so I'm going to unpin this topic and Open it, in the event that it is needed in the future.

Don't hesitate to let us know if you get PM spam. I rather enjoy banning spammers...

Here's one - haven't opened up the pm from the person, but I'll just chalk it up to spiced ham from Smirecedraids. The pm was entitled, "What Everybody Ought to Know About Online Pharmacies"...

I received reports from a few people that MannInBlackk has been sending PM spam. Note that the mods are aware of this and will be taking action.

There's a LadyrootFiX sendin' pm's, according to the online activity, at the moment.

I'm using the method of blocking the name at the PM Box. I agree this is definitely becoming annoying.

Scary part is they've been doing it for over an hour, while a mod was present for a while, and they still haven't been stopped.

Maybe put a limit on how many PMs a person can send a day, like 10 a day or something.
