so was the hospital clerk deaf? she didn't talk, which can sometimes be a sign of someone who can't hear.

also, it looked like she showed an ability (my thought is that she can see sound, but not hear it)

as much as I like Sylar doing this to Matt, he is almost starting to get annoying. not annoying enough to want him to stop, but perhaps just annoyed to the point that we feel what Matt is feeling - if that is really what TK is going for then good job

I am a bit confused about the ability to move earth and the ability to do this ink thing? is it that the ability is at the mineral level? if so that would be way too complex - if anyone is reading the heroes comics there is someone with a similar ability (sparrow if I recall)

I think when Peter shook Samuel's hand, Samuel put some of his "dirt ink" on Peter.

I believe Samuel is looking for another empath for his carnival, based on what we've seen in the show so far, it sounds to me like Joseph was an empath as well. But, now that Joseph is dead, Peter is the top candidate to join the "family".

At least be happy its not like in the old days..for instance on the western "Bonanza" it was not unusual to see...for a commercial...the Cartwright boys extolling the virtures of Chevy trucks as said vehicles were parked in 1870's Virginia City. And look at 60's shows...Bewitched, for instance..EVERYONE drove a Chevy.
