When I watched all of the Matt/Sylar scenes, Niki and Jessica from Season 1 immediately jumped in my head. Obviously there are a lot of differences and similarities between the two couples, but I couldn't help but feel a twinge of nostaglic goodness in my bones as I watched

For example...all Jessica wanted was to be in control of Niki in terms of personality and power. Sounds a lot like Sylar if ya ask me (only he has a body he can actually inhabit...and he's not a dead sibling of Matt's).

Hmmm... I've never thought of that, but that is true, the events between Matt and Sylar are kinda similar to Nikki and Jessica! Interesting!

It's even more interesting considering that, to ''win'' over Jessica, Nikki actually had to ''accept'' her as part of herself. Will Matt and Sylar do the same?

I've always saw Matt heading down a dark path since Season 1..it would actually be a breath of fresh air if he did indeed become a "Villain".

Though Matt and Sylar being the Niki/Jessica of this season, I can live with that.

Although if Matt starts getting trapped behind mirrors, I'm walking.

hm it would be interesting if sylar took full control of matt. but then, if "nathan" turned into sylar, there would be two brain-sylars walking around. i think this is already being discussed on another topic
