did anyone else get chills when peter was asked if he ever lost a brother and he (after a brief pause) replied with "no"?
i loved this exchange for many reasons. one, for a split-second you almost expect peter to answer "yes" because he recently lost nathan. except, not reeeeally. doh!

i almost forgot myself that he doesn't know nathan's really gone.
i also thought it was clever because he has lost his brother before, but somehow he always comes back.
i just thought it was a great piece of writing and a nice hint back to the nathan/sylar storyline at hand. i'm not even sure if i wanna know how peter's going to react at this point.

I thought that line was cute as well. Pretty well acted, as well. Heh, I found myself saying to the TV after Peter said no, "Wanna bet?"

Everyone better hope he has Emma's power at the time.

Peter will not be pleased with what Angela made Matt do.
Appears to be a passive one.

I LOL'd at that line, too. I was thinking about when Nathan died when Peter exploded, and when Nathan died when Peter shot him, and when Nathan died and his memories were put into Sylar's body, hahaha.

Yeah great line. Also, Is it just me or does anyone else like "Nathan" better than Nathan. I mean Nathan was so much of a jerk that even "Nathan", who is really Sylar may I remind you, thinks so.

And I can't wait for the reveal after that, where Nathan's mind is determined to be in Sylar's body. (Hey, if minds can jump around bodies, minds aren't tied to brains, and wacky stuff like astral planes exist in the Heroes universe. Matt moved Sylar's mind, he could have just as easily plucked Nathan's mind from the astral plane and put it into Sylar's body).
I have a thread on this, so it'd probably be better to continue the discussion there if you respond:

I LOVED this part. It had to kill Angela to sit there listening to Sylar--of all people!--tell her what a dbag her son was.

I just waited the whole time thinking that she will shove the woodsticks into his eyes.

As about the samuel/peter scene I was also like "Oooooh yeahhh you did!".

In this timeline, Shang Tsu...Sylar proformed the FATALITY! He had to be subdued by Shujin...Peter, a puppet of Arthur Petrelli in the Exposed Timeline and a victim of Sylar in this one...Is it me or is Nathan becoming the Heroes version of...let us just say it involves the line "Oh my god! They killed..." you can guess what the last parts are...

Yes they will and so will Simon and Monty when they find out. They will be the most ****** off of them making Peter and Claire seem just simply upset. I can't wait to see
which of Nathan's sons manifests an ability because one of them is definately going to go after Sylar. That's my guess! This won't happen till the end though, another guess.

Well considering they're like 8 years old I don't think we'll be seeing them go after Sylar unless we jump a few years in the future.

The thing is they are going to have to tell Heidi and the kids and the rest of the world that Nathan died in a tragic accident. They obviously can't explain the whole "he has been dead for a while but we just had the guy who killed him made up to LOOK like nathan"

I actually see Sylar becoming Nathan as a way of punishment. Nathan was his last victim so he is forced to live in his body for alongtime.

How many times has Nathan died, either in the present timeline, or in dreams or future visions? He was blown up in Peter's dream of being the exploding man, almost died when he flew Peter away from Kirby Square, was shot and died at the end of season 2(but then "got better"), was head sliced by Peter in the future, was killed in an Angela vision(where most of our Heroes lay dead in, I think, Pinehearst), and then gets killed by Sylar at the end of season 3. I'm sure I've missed a few.
I think he gets killed again next week. Some Heroes writers must be Southpark fans.

Yeah. Unless their ability is to not be little children it'd be kind of hard to take them seriously as a threat to Sylar, unless Sylar was already neutered, no matter how "powerful" such an ability might be.
And I wouldn't get TOO hopeful about seeing those kids. BTE might come from the powers that be but the tone of the responses in it haven't always struck me as being completely serious. Just because it was mentioned there doesn't make it concrete. The creators set their own rules and storylines and have displayed a ready willingness to change their minds on such things from volume to volume and even week to week.
Besides which a super powered eight year old with a chip on his shoulder sets off my annoying character spidey-senses. I'm hoping the show and everyone in it forgets Nathan even had any children besides Claire. There're enough Petrellis already.

He's also dead in Five-Years-Gone (killed by Sylar) and is dead from the virus in Peter's trip to the future in Season II. There has yet to be even one season finale or "trip-to-the-future" episode that did not involve Nathan dying or presumptively dying.
And yes, it appears we'll be treated to yet another "Nathan death" on Monday, although, judging by recent photos from the set, this may be followed by still one more "Nathan resurrection," no doubt so that the writers are able to kill him again in this season's finale.
