My name is Mercy i saw your profile today at 9thwonders and becameintrested in you,i will also like to know you the more, and i want you to send anemail to my email address so i can give you my picture for you to know whom i am.Here is my email address (mercymabou@yahoo.com) I believe we can move from here! I am waiting for your mail..."

Anyone else get this?

Someone is spamming and fishing for email addresses. Hopefully noone is stupid enough to actually rreply with their information.

Yeah, I got one from a maceylove3.

We've had an ongoing problem with PM Spammers the past several days. The moderating team is working on this problem. In the mean time, please continue to let the moderators know if you have received a PM spam so appropriate action can be taken.

Just got it for the first time.

The name they're using now is maceylove4

(Apparently they're not overly creative lol)

If you want creativity, the Moderators could post all the information from those spammers in a forum so everyone can see what address they're sending from.....and not ask people what they do with that info.

I know I have a few friends that would have a field day with that. Yeah, friends, not me personally, yeah that's it, friends.

As entertaining as that might be, it's not our or NBC's policy to share such information openly on the boards.

We'll handle it.

I just picture MaceyLove as a very lonely person who decided Heroes fans make the best sot of friends, and has sought to get herself some!

Or...a p0rno spam bot.

Got the same one like friday, I just blocked her, figuring admin would find her. It's a 419 love scam. "Send me some money so I can come be with you my true love!"

Nope, last one I got was from a maceylove4, but since they were already banned I ignored it.

That's good to hear. I knew certain actions I took would work, but I can never be positive with spammers. They are a clever, evil bunch. Or to insert a well known Star Wars quote, a wretched hive of scum and villainy.
