The past episode or so, we've seen Edgar questioning Samuel's choices. He certainly doesn't like new people being brought in, but I also get the sense that it has to do with his feelings for Lydia. Plus it can't help that everytime he turns around Samuel is slapping him or yelling at him or ordering to do something he doesn't want to do.
So what is the deal. Will we start to see some rebellion from Edgar? And what is Samuel going to do if he finds out about the Phone out buddy Ed snuck in?!
Tune in next week to As the Carnies Turn...

actually i can see this going to different ways.
1.)Edgar can be a snitch and warn the "good" heroes. Him and lydia seem to both have problems with the rules in the family and it also is apparent that samuel has changed his ways since his brother died. Samuel can definately be the "Bad guy with a good idea" type of bad guy.
2.) Edgar on the other hand seems to hate outsiders. He also has a supporting character in lydia. they could always turn on edgar and take over the family. His distrust could be his downfall, one wrong move by someone may push him over the edge.
Reall both of those situations would keep me tuned in because they both lead to big character developement and plenty of ways to have plot twists. So bravo writers so far lost of people talking about good writing and not just patch jobs to fix things like the past seasons

agreed, they've definitely set up a complex plot.

I think that Edgar will turn into a turncoat. How's that for repetition?

I think that when Peter takes a stand against Samuel, which he's bound to eventually, Edgar's going to cross over to Peter's side.

Edgar is very interesting. Yeah he's on Samuel's side, but he also doesn't seem to want to cause trouble. He just wants to live his life.

Yeah, this seems to also be true as well. He has thee rebellious tendencies but in the end he doesn't seem to be like some character we've had in the past, who just can't feel complete until they have messed up their whole life. He seems very chill about it all, really.
